Well, if it doesn't update, which, sometimes it never does then oh well. I think it's just hit or miss to be honest. During the K1 process certain steps didn't update till almost a year after the fact so I'm not too overly concerned.
Plus, my wife has an official stamp that shows the biometric was taken on her biometric screening appointment notice. They stamped it when she went to get her biometrics done so that's proof right there that we can use in case the USCIS tries to claim we never showed up or something like that.
Thank you, I also got that official stamp when going for the biometric collection, and can I know where you found the service center? I checked my NOA, it shows National Benefit Center.

What is your service center and your NOA date?
i dont think i have a serivce center now, as it's about removing the conditions on the 2 year Green Card, USCIS just asked me to go to the appointed USCIS office to have my biometrics

Wondering the same thing.
My wife had her biometrics done on 12/3/21.
It's now over 3 months later and both new and older USCIS pages still have not updated.
Her case is at the Texas Service Center and her NOA date was 10/9/21.
https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/logon.do
Can I know if your Case is also about removing conditions? I got my friend whose Case status is updated right next day after she finished the biometrics collection.

I went to USCIS office on Feb 11 to file my fingerprints, but now it's still not updated yet. I know sometimes the website can update to "Fingerprints are taken" 1 day after the collection day, just curious what is the common timeline here.

I entered on Oct 20, received my SSN 8 days after. Today (Dec 18) I received my 10-year Green Card. Super fast I think.
Actually my lawyer had recommended me not to pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee before POE. She said that if I pay it once I'm here, the order of my green card will be submitted at the moment I pay the fee online. I followed her advice and paid it the day after my POE. Then the green card arrived less than 2 months.
Congrats!

Wait until the 120 days mark then we contacted USCIS. After that they started to process her green card. We received it on December 14th. 150 days total.
Congrats that you got it before Christmas!

I'm in the same situation. Greencards were paid in oct 2019! POE was january 16 2020. I received my greencard 6 months after POE. My daughter still hasn't received hers after 10 months! It's ridiculous. Her i551 stamp is going to expire soon.
sorry to hear that, did you try to call USCIS about this issue?
-
Actually after I talked to the infomation specialists, only one of them explained that why some entered US from July onwards received the green card within 1-2 months, as if your case exceeded stated 120 days, your case will be automatically moved to "Non-delivery" pool, which will be solved differently from those still within 120 days, and the process will be different.
I also got the feeling that not all specialists have enough knowledge towards issues, it depends on your luck to talk to the good one or bad one. I had a very bad experience on that, but luckily, the last one I spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpful.

So hubs logged in yesterday and saw this magical notice:
Card Produced - (Non-DACA)
USCIS has produced your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) and mailed it to the address you provided.
Lets see how long it takes to arrive. Yesterday, when the message changed, it had been 175 days since we activated our visas.
No e-mail, no tracking. Guess we're supposed to telepathically know...
ya dont get it, but it took me less than a week to receive the card, faster than i expected.

Just a little timeline so 185 days after POE at JFK and two inquiries and one phone call to uscis my card went into production. On the 190th day the card was mailed and then received the following day via usps.
It's good to see that USCIS is clearing the backlog, in the future should be faster.

No green card received by the 120 day mark. Contacted USCIS in July. No response.
Contacted USCIS again in August. No response.
Received a call from USCIS late August telling us that they have no information on our case and are forwarding our request directly to the processing center.
Received email from USCIS earlier this week saying that the case is moving and being sent for production.
Card production: September 12, 2020
Will update when card is received.
great!

Not yet. My status says they mailed it last Wednesday, 16 days after it went in production. I tried to get a tracking number Thursday but i guess they didn’t have it yet. I suppose i will get the card this week. I’m very excited!
Your status shows mailed is on the old USCIS status website (egov.uscis.gov) or the my USCIS website (my.uscis.gov)? Or both?

1 hour ago, Iscir said:oh no how frustrating! i hope you get a nice person when you call on monday!! and it’s definitely not 30 business days, i made my second inquiry exactly on day 30 (calendar days) and complained about my first inquiry not even being assigned 😅
hahah let's c how it goes
-
thats very funny, the 30 days passed again. just called the USCIS, waiting for half hour to talk a specialist, the specialist used a robotic tone told me 30 days means 30 business days, first time heard about this, the specialist submited my request last time didn't highlight 30 business days at all, as well as the message sent in the my USCIS and so far my case hasn't been assigned to anyone yet.
And the funny thing is that, he asked me to talk to the tier 2 officer asking about this, then i asked him can you connect me to the tier 2 officer now, then he replied that now all the connection to tier 2 is down, only will be fix at 8am monday morning. I was like ........
Today im just so "lucky" talking to a specialist like this, nearly yelling at me during the conversation, I never had experience like this.
I hope he is not the one im going to talk to on monday. 😂

Hi guys,
my son, 8yo immigrated a month ago in the US.
how we can check the status of his green card? In the Uscis website still saying “case was sent to the department of State“.
any help?
I think you better call the USCIS hotline to clarify the status with the officer.

I'm starting to think that it was the change of address that bumped the production of my green card to the top. Action was taken that day.
I also changed my address but the miracle didnt happen lol.
How long it takes for USCIS update after collected fingerprints?
