how long do you think the interview will come? 

thats what I was thinking that It takes more than 10 years for siblings but why did they send the NVC case number than? My husband mom is applying for her siblings and they have the receipt number and that was 2 years ago there case didn't go to NVC. My brothers did so thats why im confused.

Where was he born

in October I filed it, and he was born in pakistan but his case is in Australia not Pakistan 

Applying my brother he lives in Australia his NVC case number came in a week will have all the supporting documents. How much time will it take for him to come to use? 

Oh okay, I understand. one more question wouldn't his interview be in Australia because he lives there? 

but he got his nvc case number I thought the process would have been faster now 

Hello guys hope you're all well, 

So my moms and my brother got approved from uscis and got a case number from NVC. My mom lives in Pakistan and my brother lives in Australia. I applied for them in July 2021 and last week they got there case number. So im confused on my brother will he be coming with my mom or does he have to wait at least 10 years. I also am a US citizen.

yeah but they still look at everything. they just didn't look at the pics.

yup after a few days he received his visa. Expedited doesn't affect admin processing. I know someone who has expedited but her husband has been in AP for 2 months know..

This is what i got in email. The last part is more confusing 

 

"The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in ISLAMABAD, PKST approved your request for expedited processing of your immigrant visa application. The National Visa Center sent your immigrant visa application to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in ISLAMABAD, PKST for their action. The Embassy/Consulate General will contact you soon to schedule a visa interview."

my case was also expedited.. after it said ready I https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=Pakistan and click on new user.

As i post last week our expedited request was approved last week but we did not hear any thing from nvc or embassy yet.

Do we need to schedule an appointment through embassy website? Or embassy will call and schedule interview?

go here.. https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ and click on Check My Visa Application Status if it says ready make an apt for interview

Do you have a joint sponsor? The reason I ask is because you are requesting an expedite based upon a financial hardship so your spouse can support you, whereas the I-864 - if you are the sole sponsor - means you would be responsible for supporting him.

I would assume so since you noted you are a student (and you said your dad was supporting you), but just wanted to make sure.

I started to upload my documents on NVC. I compressed my files on adobe and the file size is saying 145 KB. Is that going to be accepted by NVC?
