We are approved, she said the interiew was long and kinda sucky most couples hads 2 -3 questions and she ended up there for 20 minutes. We got approved tho!!!!!!

Interview Dec 6th, flight to usa dec 10th. Pray we have an eventless interview!!! We are both so nervous!

So with the copies of tax returns do I have what I need?

Although my situation I am sure is not unique it is a little confusing.... I am self employed and was previously married.

I cut my pay this year due to the fact I dont really need all that I was paying myself...do i put last years(and previous) numbers which was significantly more, or this years (projected) number which is pretty much double the poverty level.

My ex-wife will not sign the request for tax transcripts (blah)

I do have the following is this enough.

W2 for last 3 year (copies or originals?)

Copy of last 3 years Tax returns

Copy of Paycheck Stubs (how many to provide?)

Note from employer (this is me do i even do this?)

Thanks all for the support we have gone through NVC so now its only a matter of a few short days!!!

Our NVC was confirmed to be there as of 11-19-07, and is being forwarded to Bucharest, we are wondering how much longer we should have to interview if all goes smoothly. The reason we ask is we want to buy plane tickets now to try to save some $$.

Also will it look bad if we buy a round trip ticket? She wants to go back next novemberish to visit her mom for birthday. Of course that is pending whethere or not she will be able to with AoS etc.

if she didn't register in bucharest there she can't get anyhting there...you should call the embassy or email them to see if she can get her appointment early. good luck !!!

The only problem with this is we put that address on the application because we didnt want to lie.... Our application still hasnt reached NVC so I don't think we can call to set up interview just yet. How long are police certificates good for are we safe to get it now?

My fiance lived in bucharest (unofficially no registered address) for a while and lives in alexandria now. Can she just get a certificate from alexandria or does she need from both? She is pretty sure she wont be able to get one in bucharest since she never registered an address there....

Also how long are police certificates valid for...and can she get the medical done now or should she wait?

We are currently in NVC state (YAY!) so we are preparing for the interview... Most of our conversation is VIA MSN we use cam and voice so we dont type a lot but we do type some....A lot of the typing is not really about relationship related stuff just pasting websites download links etc. Our other proof of ongoing relationship includes several pictures some of just us others of us/me with her family/friends, and up to this point 10 trips in the last year, including one were we both went to paris together. How much of this conversation is recommended? And will it helps us being that most of it is not the mushy gooey stuff?

Sometime between 9pm and 12am (9pm is last time i checked)

My fiancee (beneficiary) moved 1 month after we filed, based on the advice of someone here we didnt put her new address as they said somethign to the effect that you can change the address online no prb.

Well you cant, in addition you cant change it by calling USCIS NOR can she change it with her embassy as they have no file to associate it with.

Has anyone gone thru this, if so what do we do? We think we r close (month or 2) from having the file comes to her and we want to move as quickly as possible once she shoudl have the file.

Please everyone be careful with this, there is NO WAY to change the foreign fiance's address online, she has to go to the embassy

I presume "She" is the foreign fiance - Her address can be changed via the USCIS web site once you have your case number - worry about that down the road. It is easy to do, so don't worry.

It is just a question I am asking we are surely not trying to pull anything, we dont want to risk our forever together to save a couple months, the individual who said she would have to return home and then we start over with I-130 answered it in the manner that I wanted to hear.

I am truly ignorant on the K3/I-130 side as I have only read up on the K1.

The thing is...the idea to get married while she is here on a tourist visa is already in their minds. So technically speaking intent is already established. Just MHO.

My field office is Nebraska but I have read this has been moved to CSC. So my question is do I send it to Nebraska and lose the 5-15 days that it will take for them to forward it, or do I send it straight to CSC?

In addition is there a listing of STREET addresses for the centers so I may send it via DHL?

Declaration of how you met in person in the last two years. This should be a single typed page attachment regarding question 18 of the I-129F. Make sure to sign and date it.

I am just curious how this shoudl be outlined. I dont know what to put on this page other than the dates. Can anyone just show me an example of how they did it?

Let me clarify we have no intent to marry if she gets the tourist visa i was just curious what the options were if we did decide to marry

My Fiance and I are about to send in the paperwork for a k1, however due to the extremely long wait we want to apply for a tourist visa for her. So my questions are...

1) Will applying for tourist visa in any way effect the K1 exp. if she gets declined on tourist visa... Her only real tie to her homeland are family and a somewhat small bank account, we could put her mothers apartment in her name possibly if it would help but I get the feeling it may just look bad.

2) If we hold off on the K1 and she gets the tourist visa and we decided to get married what are our options at this point?

Well tahts all I can think of for now I am sure I will have more questions later.

Thank you, I think we will try to print some out according to specs as we really dont want to waste another 12 days sending vi snail mail.

Taken abroad, I can find a place for mine to be taken at 2x2 but for hers we have more of a problem the pictures from her are 1 3/4 tall by 1 3/8 wide, We are in the I-129f process.

Were they taken in the US or abroad? How far off the 2x2 mark are they? And what portion of the process are you talking about? The I-129F or the interview?

I have a questrion regarding the photo also, my fiance and I went to get the photos taken at a place specifically for passport photos, the pictures ended up NOT being 2x2. They insist people use them for photos all the time....Is our package going to be rejected because the photo is not 2 inches wide?
