I called again about two weeks ago for my husband, all they did was give him an appointment for December 14th. They said that the start of New Jersey doesn't allow people to send me documents. So we will have to wait.

Ok good, than that's what your going to file with. He would receive a w2 depending on what he does for work for those 6 months. but again make a appointment with the person who does your taxes is better to talk to someone about this is person.

If he has being working here in the USA forget about DR that doesnt matter they dont pay tax. Your husbands W2s and yours is more than good enough and even if he didnt work you can still file with him and get more money. you can still get a credit because your still together living as a family.

The best thing she can do is talk to the person who is going to file for her, there she can ask all the questions she may have. Also, For my understand you have to file together the first years for a new immigrant. having a bank account and being in their apartment lease is not good enough for immigration.

Wow February or March that's to far😭😭. My case type is IR1 and my cc is 10/02, it feel like forever I didnt know it will take over a year.
