DQ'd this morning. Now to just wait for the Ciudad Juarez embassy to open up for interviews. It's been a long journey to get to this spot so we are excited!

Yeah, the waits are unreal but let's see how they go. If anything as time goes on we might try for an expedite since I cross the border each day to work and that's causing a financial hardships with corona going on. 
 
As for the police report, yes, it was quite simple to get.

After receiving the generic: "we have a ton of petitions to get through and yours is in review" message, we received a date change on our My USCIS account, and now today we finally were approved! It was almost an entire year of waiting but finally, we are on to the next step. Now to just wait for our NVC correspondence.

The way I hear it is they are understaffed. I called NVC and that's exactly what they say at the beginning of the message is that NVC is understaffed. I know the consulate in Mexico is still operating not sure how slowly due to covid. You must check whatever consulate you are going to have your interview at. Those are my suggestions. 

My wife and I are still awaiting our approval (our PD was Oct 2nd, 2019) but didn't even know if the consulate was taking interviews at this time. We were under the impression they were still shutdown during covid?

So quick update on my Request For Outside Normal Processing Times...
 
We never received a transfer notice, however, it would seem that our processing center was definiately transferred to Vermont because the email we received back was from that office and they said that we were still within their processing times even though we were originally in Nebraska and never notified about the transfer. 
 
However, at the bottom of the email it says that it should be finished up within 60 days since it's with an agent. Not sure if this is a canned reponse or not though.

Went ahead and filed a ONPT today since Nebraska is now handling cases from mid-October. My PD was Oct 2nd, so should be eligible. We'll see what they say in the next few weeks. 

Let's hope there is some more clarification later today as to what exactly is meant by suspension. If he were to automatically deny all current applicants I'm going to lose it cause so much time and money would be lost.
