Damn! After getting an RFE requiring another marriage certificate and proof of marital life together, now they scheduled us for an interview.

Does that mean they don't believe in our marriage? Lol

A separate letter will be provided in the mail with your online access code. This is usually after they sent the receipt notices for your I-148 forms, ead and AP.

I also read somewhere that if you don't receive the online access letter, you can "ask Emma" and she will send it via email.

"COVID-19 Testing No Longer Required for U.S. Entry as of June 12, 2022".

However, you still need to be vaccinated.

Hindsight 20/20, but the wait for the EAD and AP would be non- existent had you filed for a CR1

You could fly to the Bahamas before you enter the US on your K-1 visa

Honeymoon after you marry?  Try Hawai'i.  Beautiful, relaxing and a US state.  No AP required.

ClioNicole reacted to Adventine in K1 visa then Bahamas then back to the US
This would only work if they were willing to have the honeymoon before the wedding.

If they flew PH > Bahamas and got married and honeymooned in the Bahamas, and THEN tried to enter the US, the K1 visa holder would be denied entry because they were already married. K1 is specifically for getting married on US soil.

It's good that you posted here on VJ before travelling. Otherwise it could have been a catastrophe and the K1 visa holder could be stranded outside the US. I highly recommend that you use the waiting time to research the AOS (adjustment of status) process while waiting for the visa.

With a K-1 Visa it can take anywhere from 3 to 8 months to get your travel document (advanced parole).
If you leave the US without that travel document you will not be allowed back in and your green card will be denied.
    DON’T DO IT!!

The flight itineraries I'm seeing transit through Miami, Saint Thomas, or San Juan. My understanding is that the last two are US territories, so he should be safe. But it is risky considering that some of those routes are usually under inclement weather and they might deviate the flight to an international one. I'd just wait it out in the US to be safe.

Don't they make at least one international port?  Going into international waters is risky.

That’s true. I was focusing on the traveling goal and  not the honeymoon aspect of the trip.

Also if you did do Bahamas *before* US entry, you'd need to make sure the flights Philippines -> Bahamas didn't transit through USA (I think). The Hawaii idea after marriage seems safer

If you want to stay with the Caribbean the US Virgin Islands may also be an option to consider for the honeymoon while waiting for AP.
