  1. You guys, I'm starting to get really worried here. We still have not received any notice or anything about scheduling our biometrics appointment and we got our NOA on December 5th! Contacting USCIS is no help and they just tell me I need to send an E-request online which I've already done on January 3rd. They say all I can do is wait. I'm so happy to see other cases moving forward so fast! But it seems we're stuck and I know my local office has long waiting times but I had no idea we would still be waiting just to take fingerprints.

I don’t know how to contact them. What number did you use to call? Thanks.

I called the same number that was posted here, and tried last night. Basically the rep told me that waiting this long can be common, it could take even up to 6 months to get the biometrics appointment, etc. And that they just haven't scheduled ours yet. So we just will have to play the waiting game and hope it's scheduled soon! I hope so..

Am I the only one who filed in November and hasn’t received a biometrics schedule yet? I’m so happy for everyone who had done it already or are just waiting for interview schedule. It’s a bit frustrating that I see people who filed December and January and have done them already. Oh well, I’ll never understand how USCIS do it and all I can do is wait patiently. :)

We haven't received ours either! I contacted USCIS yesterday just to see if I can get any more information. The rep made it seem like this still could be normal...but since my husband is the applicant they wanted him to be on the call as well so they could look further. Sadly I was at work and today didn't get a chance to call them. We received our NOA1 on December 6th, around.

We received our NOA's on December 9th and biometrics on December 12th. That being said, our local office is Montgomery, AL and I see that yours is NYC. I have no numbers to back me up here, but I'm gussing NYC has some of the highest numbers of cases in the country based on NYC population. I know the wait SUCKS, but imagine the feeling when the letter comes in! Hang in there!

Aaah you got yours so fast! Grats! Yes we are quite anxious to receive it but hopefully everything is okay and not lost in the mail.
