I believe he is correct...im a nurse practitioner here you have to pass the NCLEX then apply for your state license ..so unless you don’t plan on working here in the future as a nurse or taking the NCLEX here in the future your answer should be yes ..

Welcome to the thread. Be sure to download the PDF on the second post in this thread. Lots of tips, tricks and hacks.
All visa applications (except diplomatic) that were pending in Havana were cancelled: https://cu.usembassy.gov/frequently-asked-questions/ It could change in the future, but right now if a Cuban is at the NVC stage and the USC's petition listed Havana then NVC automatically assigns the case to Georgetown, Guyana.

Thank you for the information and your help! Pending a decision we have been planning and expecting to have to make a trip to Guyana, not expecting anything to change anytime soon for the embassy in Cuba 🙁. This website has been so helpful for info in this overwhelming process!

Maybe, They may already will know, did you or SO list a profession on any application you filled out, or put student ..are you going to lie if you put no and they ask you about it in the interview. You haven’t done anything wrong so if your intention is to work here as a nurse you should probably be honest up front, say yes and give an explanation, they should know You will need to comply with national and state guidelines and credentialing to work In the health care field. I wouldn’t take a chance if I were you, if you are going to be a citizen of this country eventually you will be contributing to the workforce after your AOS and you will pay taxes, nothing wrong with that. Hope this helps!
