It is a stupid idea anyway. I know both our families would absolutely shame us into keeping it (despite being utterly irreligious and otherwise pro-choice) and would never let us live it down if we adopted it out. Plus we already have a kid who is old enough to know that I'd be pregnant without me having to say anything and how are you supposed to explain the fact that their sibling just disappeared one day? She's not stupid. Not to mention the risk I'd be putting to my own health and safety by carrying an unwanted pregnancy.
Nope, adoption is not an option in my case. I have no desire to have any more children and neither does my husband. If my husband's vasectomy failed, I'd probably strongly consider an abortion and get Essure done.

There was outrage once. Seat belt laws and speed limit laws resulted. Today, the rate at which people die in auto accidents has been reduced drastically since the 60s and 70s.
Is there a problem with going on a similar 'journey' with respect to firearms? Not with the intent of taking them away from you or even with the intent of going to zero gun deaths a year, but to simply reduce the rate as much as practical while keeping things kosher with the constitution?

Sometimes you can't beat German engineering. I think solar power is an obvious choice, yet the US lags behind. Yet we have been using it a high level in space for many years.

Abortions need to be available, safely, for all women who choose to have one. End of story. You can't pick and choose who you believe is worthy.

And you can thank your 'right-to-life' colleagues with making abortions much more dangerous than they should be. With the harassment and death threats it is no wonder that many decent doctors and clinics have decided against providing this medical service. If you folks get your way abortions will be driven back into the alleys and completely unsanitary conditions where they were prior to abortion becoming legal! And as a result many more women will die.
Pro-choice people like myself recognize the inherent tragedy abortion represents. We are NOT 'Pro-abortion'! We want abortion to be safe, legal, and rarely needed! We do NOT want you, or your church, trying to assert a right to make the moral and medical decisions for the rest of us!!!

Disease organisms don't care about your religious beliefs, and prayer won't help you avoid potentially carrying a disease to someone who can't be vaccinated for legitimate medical reasons like a compromised immune system. I hope you understand why you can't refuse to be vaccinated for "moral" reasons, unless your morality stretches to ignoring sensible public health measures. Three similar giant ships landed in China and the Indonesia Sea in November, 2011. They were identified as alien spaceships from Planet Gootan. Three more giant Gootan ships are headed her for March, 2013.
