DNA-VC got a reaction from Shane-Debby in K1 & K2: How to schedule interview for both in the same appointment
I am a K1 beneficiary and my child is K2. I will be scheduling interview this coming month but I am confused as to how do I schedule us both in the same appointment. Reason being, there is a separate DS160 for my child, as I understand and when I go to the particular portal, it gives two separate options of K1 and K2 and individual details need to be filled out in order to proceed. I do not want to go the final page and then fumble for answers. Would appreciate if anyone can help. Thanks a lot!

Congratulations. I love the fact that you never gave up. You plowed ahead no matter what was thrown in your path. When you write your embassy experience there is a place to put that for others to see and read. Here is the link to help you find it.

Alhamdolillah!! Our visas are finally issued. 10 months from filing to visa issuance and 12 months of staying apart. Thanks to Allah we are looking forward to seeing each other soon. I have updated CEAC record of dates since interview to issuance on my timeline. Will post a review with all the details soon insha'Allah (We had our complications, NOA2 expiring, legal permission for my child and related documents, My child's passport not being ready until after the NOA2 expiry, medical being refused for K2 and then the doctor putting me up for Psychiatric Assessment) Few others too but i'll include that in the review. I have summed up details up here because I was so confused with these things and did not find answers in the Pakistan Forum, hence putting it out in the open in case any one in future goes through any such thing. Had it not been for this forum, it would have been much more of struggle. Thanks to EVERY SINGLE PERSON HERE who has shared their information; You have made it so much easier for the rest of us, newbies especially. Thank you VJ and VJayers, eternally grateful. I am not a pro but any questions regarding ISB embassy/my experience are welcome. And one thing that I have found to be true; I read countless times here from admins and senior members to be truthful and honest with all the information in your petition and throughout, well, BINGO! Thanks again everyone!

When you enter your information and you come to the conclusion of that entry you will be asked if there are anyone else and you answer in the positive and go on and complete the process for your K2.

We are still waiting for our NOA2 but my understanding [thanks to VJ members ] of the steps are below.

You should start filling DS-160. Create an account on US Travel doc. As soon as you get email/letter from NVC stating that your case is Ready then you take the letter for the medical exam. Pay the K-1 visa fee at the Allied Bank. Schedule the interview through US travel doc. Obviously, lost and lots of prayer through the entire process.

    1. The Pakistani Marriage is invalid for immigration purposes.
You can not use the date of marriage for immigration purposes.
You can not legally marry your wife under us law (that you are subject to) until your current marriage is dissolved.
The USCIS will not recognize your marriage in Pakistan because even if you argue that it is legal at the time that it was conducted in Pakistan, it directly contradicts US public policy and it will not be recognized.
    2. The Pakistani marriage is a void marriage to the USCIS.
    3. The US doesnt recognize unconsummated proxy marriages. There was a law specially created for the japanese widow of a fallen soldier but this law is specific and wont apply to you.
You can marry her by proxy and file for a K1 visa. This is acceptable.
    4. As the subsequent marriage is void then you will have to remarry her again. How that is done in Pakistan with the legal documents that you already have is up to the Pakistani process.
