It seems your husband has been trying all possible ways to get into the US-he gets declined on one visa today, he applies for another tomorrow. Nigerians are known at tending to throw any stone into the water to knock a fish (attempting anything to come to the US). Maybe this is what is in the mind of the IO with all his yearly attempts. I'd caution you to be careful. Hopefully yours is different and that he truly loves you.

    Wishing you all the best

Timona thanks!!! The second tourist visa he did applied for I actually forced him to apply for it, and for the other lady he previously got engaged with I do know the whole story, and I know all flags are up against, just really want to know what we can do from here?

  2. Back in 2014, my husband had a tourist visa interview at the US Embassy in Russia while he was a student in Russia. The visa was declined.

In 2015, my husband applied for K1 visa with another American lady he had a relationship with, but while the application was at the USCIS level they ended the engagement. However, application had not been canceled and it was also declined.

In 2016, my husband then applied for a tourist visa to visit me and it was declined at the Embassy.

In 2017, I myself applied for a tourist visa for Russia to go see him, then we applied for a K1 visa in the same year (February 2017). In August he went for the interview at the US Embassy in Russia and consulate asked him questions about his past K1 visa and tourist visa. Such as why the previous engagement was called off and he told the consulate everything that it went under Administrative Processing. Waited months for the conclusions of the processing while we had already set a date for our wedding December 15th of same year. Because of the wait of the AP, I decided to go to Nigeria and meet his entire family in November. We had a Nigerian wedding and civil marriage.

In 2018, we decided to apply for CR1 visa through a lawyer whom we explained all our previous applications too and mentioned it could be a challenge but successful. During this time we canceled the previous K1 visa to focus on CR1 visa. The CR1 interview date came in this August of 2019. The consulate asked questions about our relationship, but focused more on the two previous K1 visa applications. After all truth told about previous applications, consulate decided for application to undergo Administrative Processing again.

At this point, we are both confused at what's next. I would love the people on VJ to advice us and if there are any necessary steps we can follow?

    Thank you!
