  1. Just proof that I am working and certificates of my trainings and seminars. I didn't upload DS 5540 btw πŸ˜€
  2. I just got DQed!!!! Just want to share the good news to everyone. 😊 Date of submission: February 19 Second submission: March 6 (Second submission was my own decision to add additional documents) DQ: Today, March 20 So I guess, you can say that they use the date of your first submission and that you don't go back to the bottom of the line if you decide to add additional documents. 😊
  3. Wow, that was quick! Our date of submission is February 19, so I hope we all hear some good news soon. πŸ™‚
  4. Believe me, I get your point. I had the same thoughts when I found out that the US Embassy here in my country has announced that they will close the embassy until further notice. But at this point we can't do anything but to wait. It is depressing to think that the waiting will be much longer than what we have expected it to be. I've been waiting for 3 years now to be with my husband, and you can just imagine how I felt when I learned about the current predicament. But what can I do? I have to be positive and have faith in this whole process, and hope and pray that the day which I have been waiting for will come. So right now, I'm more concerned about being DQed because that's where my case is right now. (I'm not even sure if I can get it right with one submission) I don't want to think about the interview yet because I know it's going to make me more depressed. We can't expedite our cases or ease the situation through worrying. Not that I'm telling you not to worry, all I'm saying is for everyone to stay positive, that's all. πŸ™‚
  5. Let's stay positive everyone! πŸ’– I saw from a post on a facebook group that someone was DQed yesterday, some has been receiving messages from USCIS and getting approvals as well. So I don't think NVC or USCIS or any visa related offices has fully stopped working. 😊
  6. Well, I already thought about that, I just can't help but to overthink. πŸ˜… Thank you!
  7. I still can't decide on this... πŸ€¦β€β™€ I just checked the DS 5540 and I don't think I can have it ready soon. I have a lot of questions about it; like do they also consider the line of work of the beneficiary or is it enough that you have a work experience? I was a government employee in my country and just resigned last February to focus on this whole process and on my family. And of course, I don't expect to get the same work in the US. My worries is that they might ask me what other jobs I can do when I get there, I mean I know my capabilities and what other things I can do, but then again I don't have a proof on that since I was stucked doing the same job for 4 years. πŸ€·β€β™€
  8. Hi everyone, we are currently on NVC stage, we first submitted all the documents last February 19, but my husband didn't upload his W-2. He said that it's not needed because he already submitted his tax return. We had a little argument about it because I keep on bringing it up and asking him if it's really not needed. And since he didn't want to prolong the argument he uploaded his W2 just now without me knowing it first. πŸ€¦β€β™€ So my question is, since the date of our last submission is today, do I have to upload my DS-5540? And if I do, do I have to upload as well evidences to support the things stated in DS-5540? I'm really confused about the whole public charge thing and NVC stage is stressing me out...😣
  9. Our SC is in Texas as well. Thank you so much! ☺ Goodluck to all of us. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
  10. Congratulations! I'm from the Philippines, our PD is December 31, 2018 and until now we haven't received our NOA2. My husband called the USCIS to check but they told him to go to the website and submit an inquiry, but then again when we did that, it didn't push through because according to the site our case is still within the processing time. I really hope we receive our NOA2 soon.
  11. Oh, I see. Well, at least I know now I'm not the only one experiencing it. Thank you for the reply!
  12. Hi! I just want to ask if you guys ever experienced this (the picture below)? I've been trying to check the status of my case but it doesn't show anything, this is the first time I experienced it while checking. Our PD is 31 December 2018 and until now we haven't received our NOA2. We filed our case in Texas. Thank you!
