Immigration is about suffering. I am US citizen applied for my wife I-130 back in 2018. Yet they put our case in AP now. 

I keep hearing people saying things will change now that Biden is in office, but there honestly has not been much done to fix the real issue we are all facing.  The main issue is the embassies are not doing interviews even close to 2019 levels.   
 
We all need to be raising a stink with our congressman about this.   Lean on Biden to pass an executive order or something that does what ever it takes to ramp up interviews.  Maybe declare the immigration workers essential works and get them vaccinated now so they can ramp up interviews.  All politics and policy aside, there needs to be a ramping up of interviews to fix the logjams.  That's the bottom line.

I had same situation. Didn't visit my wife till now. But Came to Pakistan week ago. Give them reason like job, study.

I am from Pakistan and we already submit papers to NVC few months ago. Police certificate  is not rquired but when we submitting papers to NVC on CEAC, it shows as required which confuse us. But, anyhow I would recommend to get police certificate regardless is required or not. Just to be on safe Side. Don't take risk. Just get it regardless you would need it or not..
It's easy to get police certificate in Pakistan. Just get it and keep with you. If ask show them if not no harm.

Sure, its I-864 form. I didnt scan properly and did digital sign. Thats why. 

True said. I had not seen my wife almost 2 years and now this happen...Its unbearable...

Hopefully, they will review quickly. The immigration is one of the worst suffereing i ever had in my life
