Some anecdotal feedback but sadly a lack of an electronic notification is not a confirmation of non-receipt. We included the e form but never received any electionic notification. We did, however, receive the NOA letters and saw the financial transaction on our bank account.

Hi I actually spoke to an attorney about this, since I included 2 checks instead of one (I thought they will probably return it). It can take up to 4 weeks for USCIS to send you the acceptance notification. If they return your package, that usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks as well. Try to be patient, there is not much you can do now but wait. Do not send another package, since that might be very confusing and it will probably cause delays (plus you might get charged twice). However, I do understand how stressful this is! Keep in mind, that you ONLY receive an electronic notification, if you included Form G-1145. Either way, you can reach out to Emma on the USCIS website, request to speak with an agent and ask about the status of your package. You can even ask them if it was received or returned - therefore rejected. I want to mention that I am NOT an attorney. This is based on my own research and experience. Best of luck

Since you used credit card, there's a great chance the payment was blocked as fradulent. If that's the case, your petition would be rejected and you'll get the packet back eventually.

Just a tip for those of you who will be waiting for a bio metrics wavier or a bio metrics appointment and it has been 30 to 60 days since you have received your NOA try submitting an e-request of Non Delivery of Notice. I had not gotten any word on my bio metrics for over 60 days. I sent in a e-request and low and behold got a reply via email in a few days and the bio metrics wavier a few days after that in the mail. Sometimes this will jog things loose there at USCIS, its worth a shot. Here is the link:

We finally had our interview on July 27, 2021 in Montgomery, AL. On our way i got a call about 7:30am from the IO, he said he noticed i travelled international a few days ago and that i cant enter a federal building unless i have been quarantine for 14 days or have been vaccinated. I assured him that we were all vaccinated (my husband, son and I). He said ok he will see us at 8:15 am (interview time).

We entered the building 8am, at the security check we were asked to see ID and interview letter, then security checked just like at the airport.  We were then ushered to window #1 to get checked in again we were asked for our ID, interview letter, we took our picture and index finger print. we were then asked to sit and wait for our name to be called, that process concluded at 8:19am. Shortly after the IO came for us, he let my son stayed and my husband and i went with him.  We went into a room, he swore us in and told us it would be a video interview and if i had brought and evidence i could put them on the desk. he left and went to another room.

When he started the video he told us that he didnt have much questions for us, that our file was basically complete as most of the questions were asked at the State level ( K1 interview) and that he would go ahead and approve at the end of the interview. The interview was:
about 5 security questions for me from the I-485
    the date we got married
    if i was previously married
the date my former husband died
if we planned to have kids (my husband told him no he was too old now. he gave us a funny story abut his father being 60+ and just had another child. I told him between us both we had 5 and that was good enough for us)
He approved us and said we were to wait for someone to escort us out. a few minutes after he came back and escorted us out.

In the car my son told me that came outside to him, asked him his name, age, school he attended and also told him that we were approved.  We exited at 8:30am.  For a 4.5 hour drive both ways it was worth the 5 min interview.  One hour into the ride home i got an updated case status that says 'card/document production'.

Then on July 28, 2021 i got another case updated that says 'Post Decision activity'. I think this is the approval notice, i saw a letter from DHS on my USPS alert this morning.

I will updated further when i get the letter in hand.

    Have a Bless day all!

We had our interview today in the Baltimore office. The interview itself was fairly quick (about 15 minutes) overall the whole process took 1 hour.  We got there at 8:00 for an 8:15 appointment. We checked in and sat in the waiting room for about 30-35 mins.  Then our immigration officer (IO) called us in. He asked my husband (applicant) the following: name, date of birth, employer name, home address, if he has a criminal record, if there is anything that would come up in his background check that could negatively impact him, then he asked me for my name and my mother in law and father in law name.  That was it! He asked if we had any questions. He said everything looked good and he's going to run a background check and then we should hear something in 7-14 days.  He shook our hands and said congrats and wished a nice day!  Due to covid he was only in the room with us in the beginning to do the oath, then he went next door in his office and we spoke to him through the computer, similar to zoom video call.
We had a very pleasant IO and the interview was somewhat conversational.

Best wishes to everyone on this thread still waiting!

    Congrats!

We had our interview today as well. We waited for about 30-45 minutes, but the actual interview itself was about 10 minutes. It was very quick! We had 4 files stuffed to the gills with us and all he wanted was our birth certificate, marriage certificate and 2020 taxes. I asked if he needed anything else, but he wasn't interested. Good to be prepared though. He told us that because we'd already gone through the K1 process there wasn't any need for an intensive interview. He implied those that skipped the K1 are scrutinized more. He told us our interview was more of a formality if anything. Needless to say, he approved us on the spot.

Got home and status updated to new card being produced!

Good luck to anyone going to theirs soon! 🥰

June 1st filed. We have a April 20th interview in Louisville. It was a little strange as we did our biometrics in Cincinnati. We never got EAD for the kids but did for my wife back in October.

We had our interview this afternoon at Lawrence ASC. New card is being produced!!!

Heads up about the medical...I was under the impression that it's good for 2 years, but that's only if it's been certified by USCIS within 60 days. So he almost asked for a new one. I did mine July 2020. But then I explained that the deficiency notice said Do NOT mail. Anyway, thankfully they accepted it! Saved us needing an updated one, phew!
