Dec 31 - Checks cashed
Jan 11 - Biometrics Done
June 10 - Expedite EAD Request Sent - Faxed all docs
June 11 - Case is ready to be scheduled for interview
June 13 - Interview is scheduled
July 15 - EAD approved
July 19 - EAD received in mail
July 23 - Interview
July 24 - Green Card Approved
July 30 - Green Card received
 
 
for Chicago 7 months from a B2. not bad.

Had the interview yesterday in Chicago. He asked to see no proof. Verbally recommended for approval. No online status change yet.

I had my interview on July 16 and got notification last night that new card was being produced! Good luck to everyone on their approval process!

I would think the SSA clerk checked to see if there was something in the works based on the I765, assuming this was not the case they let your wife apply for a card/number.  There will be only one and the first one trumps all.

5 weeks since interview is scheduled. youll get the paper next week.

@absolut.. yes, you can get a temp paper. I think it is called Numi paper, ask for one once you are there. Good Luck!

sure there is a temporary printout if you need the SSN right away.

we did an expedite for the EAD/AP that (maybe..) made them open up our file. because literally after i sent all the docs for expedite the following day we had movement on our 485 (interview ready to be scheduled)... and 2 days later interview scheduled.. no idea if it had anything to do with EAD/AP expedite.. but judging by the case tracker app. A LOT of people are now getting interviews scheduled from December.

Dont give up so easily! I know its easier said than done. But we all suffer, including the petitioner. We all want this to end so quickly, but with immigration it's anybodys guess... based on your timeline you are due anyday now for your Advance Parole and Work permit! Dont give up! My wife took on gardening and cooking to ease her time at home, we now have 4 huge squash plants and 2 cucumber and a ton of beautiful flowers and goes to buy food on a daily basis she had almost forgot she was waiting for our interview. It will come! Best of wishes from Texas!!!

Congrats!  Mine changed to Interview was scheduled in just 12 days, I didnt expect it to be so fast, so maybe you will be scheduled very soon:) 

I just patiently waiting, thats all. I am not depressed about it, it will happen eventually. I have better stuff to do than checking my status everyday and worrying about stuff I have no control over. 

OMG I cant explain my feeling right now!! All things I can do is to Thanks GOD for everything this is it, when I woke up this morning 10AM I CHECKED MY email my everyday routine I was so shocked USCIS sent me a letter and stated that "Youre reciept MSC******* FOR EAD IS NOW ON PRODUCTION" wooohhh I JUMPED down and read it to my husband😂😂

so it seems that steadily November is getting their EAD/AP's

lockbox messed something up while scanning the docs into the system. good on you for the quick turn-around keep us posted.

Same date as you! It's definitely demoralizing to see how far behind they are, but hopefully we'll hear something soon! 

@NikkiFromCanada theres no explanation except its a broken process. They are using antiquated IT technology and the process hasnt been touched in years (typical of anything government run). I am in IT so I know how these government ships run, they are way behind, just now they are going digital (as stated in the press release from a few days ago). I bet they were still using faxes to transmit I485s to field offices!! Anyway no need to get upset, everyone waiting, half people get expedite half dont, the rest wait, your turn will come. My wife is waiting for her ead/ap for now 5 months so we are in a similar boat as you.. I read that theres like 200 employees doing this process, 70 fulltime and 140 contractors, many of which are on memorial day leave already... have patience (im having difficulty with it as well)

This is a very supportive group of people who filed in October and are getting frustrated with the process. We share anything we did that might be useful to someone else's case and offer support during the wait.
