  1. Happy update: Case approved! About 1.5 week from mailing RFE.
  2. I havne't been here long enough that I forgot what the best way to ship the documents would be. Is UPS second day air fine? I remember when I first filed there was some discussion about not using one of the carriers (USPS?) but I forgot why. If anyone knows or have any tips, please let me know! Thanks!
  3. Our financials are still not much comingled other than having a joint account (used less) amidst several of our individual accounts (used more). (We both been working long time before marriage and have been sharing living expenses out of habit from each's individual accounts). We didn't mingle finances much partly due to habit and partly because we both are taking care of our parents respectively and it's just easier to keep the finaces somewhat separate. Any advice on how to frame this? We did just had a baby. (thank god!)
  4. Provided a detailed list of what I already submitted for ROC (I guess they typed it in?) , and then a general list of evidence that I should supplement. My guess is that we did not comingle our finances that much as the list has a comment that our bank statements show "minimal activity". sigh.
  5. Hi, I just received an RFE for my ROC. Is this common? Certainly wasn't expecting this so I'm a little concerned. Thanks in advance for your input!
  6. Yes I've got both the NOA for extention and for fingerprint waiver.

  11. Call USCIS to see if you can get any info on the first package. But if your greencard expiration date is approaching soon, then definitely send out a second package before that.
  12. My I-751 package just got delivered (June 7th, by UPS). The delivery proof says "Received by WEST", "Delivered at Dock". Is this expected? I'm not sure what DOCK means.
  13. Yeah, good thing you filed the first one so early so there's plenty of time to wait. I read a case where that person waited more than one month and still didn't get it back, but had to file as the card was expiring in few days.
  14. Oh...so how long did it take you to receive the initial package back? Or you didn't wait and sent out a new one?
  15. Hi your timeline shows it was delivered on May 5th, was that your prior application? Did you hear anything back about that one?
  16. I will say how you usually sign, since the signature is for the bank to authorize cashing the check.
  17. yes tha'ts the form to use for now. they haven't updated yet.
  18. I used that form. I didn't even look that closely about what location it applies to. I see many people using it for I-751 so shouldn't be a problem.
  19. At least you know clearly what might be the possible cause of rejection, so resembling the docuemnts and refiling without waiting for the notice/explanation to arrive is less risky than refiling without knowing why rejected. But anyway, maybe they really want that money and yours will go through no problem:)
  20. You filed the first one pretty early so I think you would have enough time even if it's rejected. I would suggest calling USCIS at some point to get more clarity on it.
  21. Woohoo! Looks like they are speeding up (for you at least)!
