Yaay!! I got approved! Not right away but one hour after I got the update new card is being produced.. Interview took just 15mins, I think they drilled my wife the citizen more than me that was awkward lol ..

Hello everyone. I'm a September Filer. PD 9/21/20
Had our biometrics taken last November 10. Still no sign of RFE for I-944. Do you think we will be getting an RFE anytime soon? 
I know some had their RFE and no biometrics schedule. 
Anyone has the same case like us? We are K1 and K2.

I arrived in the Philippines on Monday, the 10th via Taiwan. Had it been a day later, I would have been stuck in Taipei. But now I'm stuck in the Philippines as flights are now canceled. 

alrighty there don juan. lets take off the rose colored glasses and look at this realistically.
 
1. you havent met her. even meeting her and thinking 'yeah, shes cool' does not mean you will a good married couple make. you might only need one visit to petition, but you really need to have MANY visits to determine true compatibility. outside of a vacation scenario.
2. how the heck are you going to afford to support her. how are you going to afford to visit her? How are you going to afford the filing fees, much less all the incidental costs associated with either a k1 or cr1. 700 a month doesnt pay my UTILITIES. much less food, insurance, clothing, basic necessities. use your big head and not the little one and THINK about this.
3. now, lets say you get her here and get married. you had to have a co sponsor (cause ummm you WILL). you split up. reason doesnt matter. Now YOU as well as your CO SPONSOR have a LEGAL CONTRACT with the government for up to 10 years to keep her off public benefits. and if she goes on them? guess who gets the bill? Not her.
4. say you stay married. happy happy all is good. then she gets pregnant. squeezes out a puppy or two. now, shes probably not gonna make much regardless, but try taking care of a hubby who cant work, a kid or two, yourself, and being happy. and staying off those benefits.
 
and saying shes not pretty, true or not, is a real low thing to do. i know im not pretty, my husband values his life and our relationship too much to EVER say otherwise. I dont care if shes walking around looking like Shrek on meth. you dont disparage her appearance. women put up with enough garbage to have the person who supposedly loves them more than anything saying ####### about how they look. especially since in your case, you need HER to support YOU.

Day 155 – I finally got my NOA2 after responding to the RFE. It has been a week since I responded. I am lucky because I read in other VJ forums that RFE can delay your NOA2 approval for up to 2 months.
 
Now it's another month wait for NVC to send me their case number. But after waiting over 5 months for the NOA2 approval, a month wait is like a walk in the park. LOL
 
Now my next stage is NVC. Do I stay in this forum or do I need to start posting on NVC Stage November 2019?
 
I already updated my timeline.

I called uscis this morning to inquire about my case and was informed that we were approved on Friday 9/20!!!  The officer stated that the hard copy will be mailed today or tomorrow. No case updates on sites (old & new), app, or phone. I’m so excited!!

9/25 Received email and online case status update that petition is approved and NOA2 is on the way.
