    ok so no Cuban Act.... another question.... he is not working, he just got his work permit and SS card.... he was receiving food stamps but no longer is.... he does not have anyone supporting him financially, will that affect his case? what about the i864?

    Sorry.... I don`t see any threads for Cubans adjusting Status.... I am trying to help a friend filed for I485, but his status and condition is different from my husband..... My husband was a K1.... does anyone know what is required document wise? he received food stamp for a few months but that was it.... what documents should we attach to his form? thank you all

    I got that update after extension letter, finger prints done about a month ago..... the extension letter we got it prior to fingerprints appointment...

    we traveled to Colombia 03/09/-03/13, no problem whatsoever.... everything went smooth.

    there is nothing to worry about.... as long as you have your extension letter there should not be any issues....

    my husbands biometrics was on March 20th, we took a trip to Colombia from 03/09-03/13.... a week before Biometrics... there were no issues at all...

    thank God it worked for us, it took a little bit, but it did work, and guess what? we got the appointment and my brilliant husband, missed his appointment, but we showed up the next day and they helped us ot and did biometrics...
