Don't forget to make copies several as you will need to send a copy and the original when you apply for the passport. Also, you will need to show SSA the original so they can update the SS file.

Only person allowed in the room is petitioner.  In Charlotte, they wouldn't let anyone in the building who did not have a letter.  Others have stated they waited in lobby.  Good luck!

I had mine today (and I was approved). My husband came with me to the office but was not allowed into the room.
    He waited in the lobby.

I had brought everything and the kitchen sink with me. They only asked for: green card, drivers license and original passport that I used to enter the country.

For only an N-400 only interview, I don't think anything else is required other than what was listed on the letter .  Good luck!  There is light at the end of this tunnel...and it is NOT an on-coming train!!!!  You both have achieved great things!!!!

She just let me read it, she didn’t let me take a picture (she’s knows I’m always on this site) I think she probably used dental services and she needed to repay, but you know some people are never honest with their explanations. I just wanted to be sure for my information because I NEVER heard of this.

Ok so it may not be legal? The USCIS notice says she has to pay $978.

    Hi all,

my coworker’s sister, overstayed her tourist visa and has to pay a fine. Her attorney said it’s a new law signed in 2021, and USCIS is now enforcing it.

    has anyone heard of this?

You're already showing that you intend to commit immigration fraud. US immigration is no joke, do not do it lie at the border.... Apply for a spouse visa.

Seems you are possibly seeking instructions to bypass the long legal immigration route.  If so, that could be seen as a plan to misrepresent your entry.  A better route might be to apply for an IR-1 spousal visa under the DCF route after your wife has a need for short time job relocation.  That way, you would be a Green card holder as soon as you enter the US with a valid spousal visa.

You were supposed to switch your I-751 to a divorce waiver at the time, if a lawyer really told you to do nothing and just wait and see if a joint I-751 gets approved AFTER a divorce then that lawyer gave you seriously wrong advice....

I don't think your case is DIY anymore. You need a GOOD lawyer and possibly you need to remain a LPR indefinitely and never open the Pandora's box of a naturalization application.
