Just noticed that the EAD card is being produced as of this morning. As others have noticed, the travel document receipt number still says case was received, while the employment authorization status says card is being produced.
 
Our Timeline:
Field Office - Charlotte, NC
AOS Packet Sent: 09/03/19
AOS Packet Received: 09/05/19
NOA 1: 09/27/19
Biometrics Done: 10/05/19
EAD Card is being Produced: 12/23/19

Finally received my green card today and it’s actually green! Just in time to be a nice Christmas present! We’re moving to Texas at the end of January and I’m planning to start looking for a job in that area. Good luck to everyone who are still waiting. Hang in there! 

I have an AOS interview in two weeks and my husband was just laid off. 
I am in panick. Dont know how to proceed.

After I read this, I downloaded the app and checked my cases: I-765 (EAD) says "New Card is Being Produced" so that was a surprise. 
 
But I checked it on the website and it says the same thing so I guess that's that. 
 
By the way, EAD being produced now!!! Yay!!! That was hella quick! We only sent them in (AOS, AP and EAD) on Sept 6th.
 
I wonder when will I get the actual card? 
 
 
 

My interview notice  came in the mail. Scheduled for Jan 23rd. 🎉

Well unfortunately my interview was scheduled for Georgia. Not only that but they have no record of my request to change my address, even though I have a screenshot of the confirmation with a reference number from November 8th.
 
I could cry 🙁

So had our interview today in Chicago. It was extremely quick and not a lot of questions were asked. Barely had to submit any additional documents. It’s now under review, pending the last background check. The lady said that if she has time she’ll check and approve it today, but nothing yet. 
 
So tired of waiting. @SLV123 did Mike receive his card yet?

Just had our interview at the Chicago office and we were approved on the spot! 

AOS interview is in the history books!  Approved!

That didn't come up for us. He mainly just asked us questions about what we had already filled in on the forms and our evidence of marriage/still togetherness. 
 
As long as it was submitted before I wouldn't worry about it!!

I guess it’s just having to remain patient (which obviously I knew came with this whole process), but boy is it getting difficult! I check the case status ALL the time like a crazy person 😂 but, remaining calm and wishing everyone luck!

No update - just finger print review completed and case received on new and old website but Informed delivery says I have something in the post from USCIS today. I hope it’s not an RFE! :(

Oh my goodness, that’s awesome! My appointment is at 3pm, so would have just missed you! Maybe we’ll bump into each other around the interview time! 

Your visa is not approved until the status changes to "Issued"......regardless of what the CO said......but the status could change to administrative processing......good luck.

I booked my interview once I received my packet 3 from the embassy. Go to www.ceac.state.gov and use your case number to check your statues. If it says "Ready", this should mean it's arrived at the U.S. Consulate in Johannesburg. I had to phone to get my Packet 3 (the letter of instructions on how to book interview), and then booked it straight away. Hope this helps!

I got a message from a South African applicant, and they received their packet 3 before scheduling their appointment. I've sent a message to the embassy just in case. Many thanks!
