Interview is on 18th July. Can someone update me please?

Three years from the 'resident since' date on your GC...minus 90 days.

Does it matter what gender your interviewer is?
-
No text for me either, just an email, even though I signed up for both.
-
You'll get a chance to correct it at your interview, don't send them anything.
-
I got an email yesterday to say I've been scheduled for interview and I'll get a letter with the details soon. Do we add that to the list? If we do would someone be so kind?
-
1. What is the next think I need to do or wait for after the biometrics?
Wait for your interview appointment.
2. Do I need to know all the answers to 100 questions that I believe I can find here in this website? Is there really a 100 item exam?
They will ask you ten and you have to get six right. You won't know which ten they will ask.
3. What is the normal waiting time for interview biometrics?
It depends on your local office, they vary.

I got my 'in line' email today if someone would be so kind as to update me.
Thanks.

Well i got my natz cert literally a year ago and it was the picture that i sent out with the application
Things change in a year.
-
The picture on your natz cert is the one that you submit with your application
No it isnt't, it's the one they take at biometrics. Read the links I posted on the first page.

You'll get a chance to change it at the interview.

After biometrics the next step is the interview. If that's scheduled for when he's out of the country he'll need to reschedule it...make sure someone reliable is checking his mail.
-
If you read the link I posted it explains why you take two passport photos. If you send off the N-400 don't leave the country until after biometrics are done.
Q8. If ASCs will capture digital photos of N-400 applicants, why must applicants still provide hard-copy photos?
A8. The hard-copy photos will be required as a back-up in case of unforeseen issues, allowing them to continue their naturalization process without delay. -
Yes, I'm sure. Just read around this forum, lots of people travel during the process. Some people have to travel for work numerous times during it. Just make sure he keeps a copy of the dates he is out of the country.
This is what USCIS have to say regarding the photos.
Q3. What’s different about the new certificates?
A3. The naturalization candidate’s digitized photo and signature are embedded in the security-enhanced certificate. Its background features a color-shifting ink pattern that is difficult to recreate. Additionally, USCIS will use a more secure printing process, making it more tamper-proof. -

First, she isn't eligible to naturalize after three years of marriage to you...she is eligible to naturalize after three years of becoming a PR. And yes, she will have to do biometrics again...everyone does.
-
Please don't be scared. It's really not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. You'll do great!
Why did you think it was going to be bad?
-
No cover letter from me either.

what does the EB stand for?
Early Biometrics. It means they did a walk-in rather than wait for their appointment time.

BTW, my interview is at 7.15am! Who knew they started work so early?
Thankfully, the USCIS office is 10 minutes from where I work and I start work at 7am anyway, but I can imagine it would be quite a shock for some people.
