It is FINISHED!! Oath ceremony complete. Husband was in and out in 15 mins. They must where a mask and no visitors can go in. He said they did 4 people at a time for the oath to practice social distancing. His appointment was at 2:00. There was also another ceremony that took place at 1:00.
Congratulations to all of you who are becoming citizens!!

I traveled internationally the day after my interview and two more times before taking the oath. No big deal. You just have to disclose it on the oath letter.

HeartNYC reacted to Going through in Moving Abroad with a Pending N-400?
Easiest solution to avoid even the slightest possibility of denial would be for your husband to move, and you visit him while your N400 application is pending.
After approval and with a US passport in your hands, then move to permanently/temporarily live with him abroad.

Hang onto it for another 2 years. It won't kill you. If for whatever reason your previous applications were to be lost by USCIS, you could re-create the evidence. And it's a lot easier to simply produce old evidence than to complain "USCIS, you have it already", should they make a request for evidence. Personally, I wouldn't destroy it even after I gained citizenship if I were you. They can always revoke a person's citizenship in certain situations. Having a complete record of all of your applications would be handy in those extreme situations. For example, if you were accused of immigration fraud and went to see an attorney about it, the first thing he/she would ask is do you have a complete copy of all your applications.

Congratulations!  Nice to see some VSC filers and transfers getting approved!

After my rant this morning I got back from work and checked my case status (even though I promised I wouldn't!) and it says card is being produced!  Really hoping everyone else gets approved quickly. Waiting as a group is one thing. Feeling left behind is another!

Hey everyone, Starsky, Xyuexue , I got home from Japan and my card was in the mail in my house !!!! My friend thought the card will come with the USCIS logo on top
thats why he said he didn’t see any card
it came as a priority mail envelope, and he didn’t think that was it!!!
but when I looked at the mail my card was there in a Priority mail envelope.
    Ouf, I can breathe now

@Fr8dog @redstripe54 i understand your frustration. It has been nothing but stress lately. I will give it a couple of weeks or so and maybe submit my n-400. As you said, we are in a limp mode and that affects our daily lives. I was lucky enough to get a job with my extension letter and expired green card. But i might have international travels planned for my job and i cant travel without having everything straightened out.
Hang in there guys. Our time will come and all this will be over soon. Hopefully 🙏
