Interview this morning and went great!! Started with the "you will have the decision within 30 days.." which led into conversation ending in "honestly, I'll probably approve this today and you should receive this within 7-10 days" WE ARE SO HAPPY! The only documents they took from us were the I-94, joint assets, marriage certificate (then gave it back because they had the original). They went through the basic questions on the app and just asked us when did we meet, when did we get married, and then where have we traveled together. We brought WAY too many pictures haha probably close to 200, and 2 photo albums that she glanced through.

Yaaay! I just got the email that my husband's Green Card is being produced! I can't believe the wait is nearly over! 😱🎉🍾🥂

We finally have our AOS interview at the Nashville F.O. tomorrow morning at 8:15 AM! We didn't get much sleep last night, and I can pretty much bet we won't tonight either (especially having to be there so ridiculously early!), but we're very much looking forward to getting this over with, haha.
 
Hopefully we won't have any more last minute panic attacks... I'll post a full review once we're done! Stay tuned...

Interview scheduled for September 23rd yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!! No EAD/AP ever given.

Got the interview letter today! 9/23 is our interview at 8am. I’m sure we will be the first one of the day! We received our letter 1 week after interview was scheduled status change. Still no EAD/AP at 275 days but at this point it doesn’t matter in my mind with getting the interview now as a point of focus!

The website has been malfunctioning for about a month. It will be down again today and tomorrow as they are yet again, trying to fix it.

Thank you so much!!!! 💛 I can’t wait to get this over with. It’s been a long, anxious process. Especially with never receiving the work & travel permit despite our efforts to put in case inquiries & expedite requests. Will update soon! Time to gather the paperwork for the interview! 🎊

I just received an email from the USCIS saying “Interview Was Scheduled” for me and my mom’s i-485 application!!
 
My heart is still pounding and I couldn’t believe it with my own eyes that I asked my stepdad to read the email for me. I was trying so hard to have our work permit and travel permit expedited since I wanted to work and save up some money so that I can finish my last semester of college back in my home country but I guess the i-485 interview getting scheduled is better than getting the i-765 expedited.
 
Hopefully we receive our interview date soon and before late October! Our LFO is Chicago, though I’m keeping my fingers crossed and praying for a late September-Early October interview date.

Your interview might be scheduled for October 1st., maybe before. It tends to be 6 weeks after the status update.

Interview has been scheduled for the I-485 here! I cannot wait to see when we can finally go and get this taken care of as our EAD/AP was completely bypassed. The amount of time it took for Case is ready to be scheduled and Interview scheduled was only 1 week, must just be due to the field office. For those that are waiting still this is what my Senator said that USCIS responded to him with:
 
I heard back from USCIS. I have included their response below:
 
“I-765/ I131
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records confirm that your constituent’s case is pending at this time.  USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely and efficient manner while also complying with all relevant directives.  While the processing steps for most applications or petitions are completed quickly, a small percentage of cases involve unresolved issues that may result in adjudication delays. 
 
We are unable to determine at this time when the review process for the application will be completed.  USCIS will issue a decision on your constituent's case as soon as possible.
 

We have had our state Senator from Washington DC calling USCIS the past couple of weeks and received an official letter after each call mailed to our home. The first message she got was that we had to wait 30 days to call after the SR. The 2nd message she got was after that 30 days passed, our case was "assigned" to an officer and we have to wait but that it's good that there's "progress." Honestly, I appreciate the effort, but I do not believe that it does absolutely anything. I don't think USCIS cares who is calling whether it's the applicant that paid thousands of dollars or if it's the Senator. They're not going to pick up your case and prioritize it based off a call unless it was the President himself. The application is where it's going to be for the remaining portion of the wait in my mind. Every piece of "info" I have received is information I can find myself from calling, researching, or monitoring my case from my own seat. I do know expediting and submitting a SR puts you into a new "queue" so I am not touching anything anymore. Not calling. Just letting time run it's course. 

Honestly, reading that many November filers are still waiting for their EAD and from December, January, February and March, makes my anxiety more and more deeper. 
You're right, the inquiry is useless. I filed mine 9 days ago and they didn't assigne it to anyone, there is an update about it on the Egov.uscis site. I called Tier2 and she said that system is wrong, the waiting time for the EAD is still over 8,5 months. And when I see people who filed way after me getting approved their EAD makes me cry all day long
