Hi Waseem, I'm responding to the comment you left on my timeline yesterday. I honestly don't know how much help I can be, because I'm not totally clear on the process either! If I can compare your timeline to mine, it seems like you're still waiting to receive your NOA2. My husband (in the US) received the NOA2 about 5 months after the NOA1. If your case is like ours, I would guess that you should expect to receive your NOA2 any day now, since it's been about 5 months since you got your NOA1, but I'm sure it varies. The VisaJourney guide (https://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1) says that "a few weeks" after receiving the NOA2, the National Visa Centre will send me (in Canada) a packet of forms. At this point, that's what I'm doing - waiting! However this stage is a little confusing, because I have also read on the forums here that you should wait at least 30 days after receiving the NOA2 before contacting the NVC to inquire about the status of your case. So I don't know if I should just wait to hear from the NVC, or contact them. I will be looking more into it, and if I find out anything that's useful, I'll let you know! But I am guessing that at this point, you should just be waiting for your NOA2. Hopefully my message makes sense, and if you have any questions, feel free to message me. Good luck! 🙂
