From your profile, looks like you went through the same process in 2009, so I'm sure if it was as easy as to "just move there" you yourself would have just done that rather than the K-1 process. All circumstances does not allow that option and one would think someone who personally went through it themselves would have better advise for those who's been affected by this sudden ban. I'm sure if this ban was placed during your process, you would have felt differently about it. Guess it's hard for you to relate now since you're already in the US and congrats on your naturalization. 

I don't think ur necessarily giving the right advice. Bec not everybody wants to move to ther spouse countries most of those countries doesnt have jobs. The ban is not forever it can always be lifted. It just take a longer time.

This is quite heart breaking for those of us awaiting appointment at the Embassy in Lagos, Nigeria.

They just completed February scheduling stopping at 12/10 DQ. I just added you to the spreadsheet.

Also correct your timeline you have Consulate received 1/13. Your case is still at NVC and will stay there until you are scheduled an interview. And there's no Package 3. So take that date out. Package 4 will be your IL.

I think the beginning of the year is when things tend to be more productive since it's after the holiday break. Production rate goes South during the holidays starting from Thanksgiving all the way to New Years. Christmas and New Year's landed on the middle of the week this year (both on Wednesday) so a lot of people took these weeks off (including myself). Things will start to speed up for most of you guys that submitted in November - i hope to see more positive comments here in the next couple of weeks.

We are in a new year and we are quite hopeful this journey, will be concluded soonest.
 
My documents was submitted on the 4th of December, 2019 to NVC, and has already been accepted. So we await the DQ email to move to the next level.

I submitted to NVC on the 4th of December and on the 14th, every other documents were accepted expected the joint sponsor I864. They said she didnt sign the page 8. Clearly she did and dated it. They equally said the status is expired, meanwhile her passport expires 2023. I resent the documents with a note. 
 
Hopefully, I get a response soonest. Did anyone experience this and how long did it to for them the accept the documents the second time?

After filling our petition and realizing how long it would take before we get the visa, my wife started looking for a job in the US in hope we could do DCF in Paris if she got an offer. I also enquired in my company who is international. Luckily there was a position they were having a hard time filling and for which I just had the right profile. My company has a blanket petition for L visas (intracompany transfers) so I am going to apply for that. The L visa has the particularity of being a dual intent visa, meaning that even though it's a non-immigrant visa, you can have the intent to adjust status before you are in the US. My company is preparing the paperwork and I have booked my interview on July 19. If everything goes well, we will be in the US for the rest of the I-130 wait.

It happened again!!!! Now in Nebraska went from 7.5-10 to 10-13 months. Great way to ruin one's weekend.

Yes, there is some negativity on here and that makes some hesitant to ask questions, unfortunately. Don't let that stop you from asking about anything you need info on though - I have always found I get good solid info pretty quickly on here - ignore any unhelpful responses and you will find this site is extremely informative.

Isnt that because, for an LPR, you dont get a case number from NVC until its available? But for USC, its immediate. I think thats what it is.
