Thank you very much for so fast reply. I know that I should send I-90 but it tooks too much time to change. I didn’t see my mom almost 7 years and don’t have patience to wait another 6-8 months. So I hope that I won’t be a big problem.

You need to file the I-90 to get the typo corrected. It is free.
You can call customer service and request for a paper ADIT to be sent to your home. That would serve as a temporary GC for a year.

You can also go to the closest CBP deferred inspection location and ask if it will be a problem trying to enter the US with that specific mistake -I assume it shouldn't but they're the ones to decide-.

Allaboutwaiting got a reaction from Mbjx3 in Good moral character time frame..
    A. Applicable Statutory Period
The applicable period during which an applicant must show that he or she has been a person of good moral character (GMC) depends on the corresponding naturalization provision.[1] In general, the statutory period for GMC for an applicant filing under the general naturalization provision starts 5 years prior to the date of filing.[2]
The statutory period starts 3 years prior to the date of filing for certain spouses of U.S. citizens.[3] The period during which certain service members or veterans must show GMC starts 1 or 5 years from the date of filing depending on the military provision.[4]
In all cases, the applicant must also show that he or she continues to be a person of GMC until the time of his or her naturalization.[5]

    B. Conduct Outside of the Statutory Period
USCIS is not limited to reviewing the applicant's conduct only during the applicable GMC period. An applicant’s conduct prior to the GMC period may affect the applicant’s ability to establish GMC if the applicant’s present conduct does not reflect a reformation of character or the earlier conduct is relevant to the applicant’s present moral character.[6]
In general, an officer must consider the totality of the circumstances and weigh all factors, favorable and unfavorable, when considering reformation of character in conjunction with GMC within the relevant period.[7] The following factors may be relevant in assessing an applicant’s current moral character and reformation of character:
Family ties and background; Absence or presence of other criminal history; Education; Employment history; Other law-abiding behavior (for example, meeting financial obligations, paying taxes); Community involvement; Credibility of the applicant; Compliance with probation; and Length of time in United States.

The OP was ungracious in victory, but USCIS indeed does care about "life circumstances" and IO didn't go against their requirements.

Consult USCIS Policy Manual for "involuntary separation" https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-g-chapter-2 and "involuntary separation, even if prolonged, does not preclude naturalization" https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-8/chapter-I/subchapter-C/part-319/section-319.1 as a direct reg citation.

No. They won't approve the N-400 without approving the I-751.

Ideally they should hold a combo interview for both ROC and citizenship -in which case you should both be there-. If not, your N-400 approval will remain pending until you both attend the I-751 interview.

If you divorce she cannot adjust status. She must leave the US as she has no legal status in the country - you say you're overdue, so she already is out of status-.

Allaboutwaiting got a reaction from Adventine in If I have both an EAD and a Green Card can I carry the EAD as sufficient proof of my legal status?
EAD lost its validity the moment your GC was approved so it serves no purpose now.

Even though it is a requirement to carry your GC  at all times -and not doing so is actually a misdemeanor- people rarely have it on themselves precisely for the same reason you do not want to carry yours: it is such a precious thing that no one wants to risk losing.

If you have a real driver's license/ ID it should be "enough" and less scary to carry and potentially lose.

Call customer service and ask for an ADIT stamp to be mailed to your home. To be able to talk to an agent say "Infopass".

Hopefully your GC arrives before you leave, but if it doesn't -and even if you can get it sent to you if it arrives while you are traveling- DO NOT travel without the ADIT stamp.

With no GC nor ADIT stamp, you must pay 575dlls. for a boarding foil to be able to get on the plane to fly back to the US.

You wouldn't have two A numbers. What a plank that 'attorney' is.
You would have two RECEIPT numbers IF the first one was accepted, which has a 0.0000% chance of happening because USCIS wants their monies above anything else  (there is a reason the cheque is on top, and they cash it first before anything), but when it is rejected, it is a nothing. No receipt number.
You could indeed send a replacement now, but why complicate matters? Just wait for it to come back (every page will be marked) with the slip, write a new cheque, send it off. Hell, even use the same box.
Even if it is after expiry it won't be marked/refused as late as you have a valid - and importantly, documented by USCIS - reason for it.

I say again, relax (and FYI, don't leave the country if it does expire before you have re-sent and have the receipt/extension in hand).

I think nationwide the marriage certificate IS the marriage license. It becomes an official certificate once it is filed with the county clerk.
Guess the difference is the term used.
