In my case tax return transcript was available 3-4 weeks after filing taxes. Maybe worth waiting?

There is always the risk to be denied entry.
I would wait until the visa is renewed.

Thank you, Family. I really appreciate it. I'm going to give this a other month or two before I do this. Attorney or no attorney involved. I really do appreciate your help.
    Thank you so very much!!

Not long ago, a member posted a detailed guide on how to file a WoM on your own.

I'll look for it and will share the link once I find it.

    No reason to be concerned.
The approved petition is valid for four months and the validity can be extended up to a year if necessary.

I would send the documents for both, just in case. It won't do any harm.

Just curious: did you include everything in your original package?

I don't think you should worry.
You both went through a stokes interview already and succeeded with far less evidence than what you'll bring tomorrow.

You'll be fine. Please don't forget to come back and update is all on how it went.

You must meet first. Full stop.

This is not about immigration but taking marriage seriously: online infatuation is nice but having actual interaction with someone and getting to know them in real life is necessary in order to know if that is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

If ROC is not properly filed -i.e. wrong fee, missing signature- and the packet is returned once your conditional GC expires, you need to file again including a letter explaining why are you filing late. Same would apply if the case is denied.

RFE's are issued in case there is a missing document, unchecked boxes or insufficient evidence.

You don't "lose privileges" but an NTA can be issued while you're out of status.

Allaboutwaiting got a reaction from Chancy in Twenty-seven months later...
So, 27 months since we filed for ROC, 17 months after our case was transferred to our local office to be interviewed -instead of being approved like every case around us- and 9 months after our last status update (that showed fingerprints were taken 😑), last Thursday, to very much our surprise, our case was finally approved with no interview and just now, we received the GC. We are still waiting for the approval letter that allegedly was mailed already.

Our status still reads "Card was mailed" and we never received updates on the phone or email -which did happen for every status change when we went through AOS-.
We actually found out we were approved because we would check the online status from time to time. As for the tracking number, we got it through USPS informed delivery just yesterday.

After the initial shock of being transferred for an interview on February 2022 -right after responding to an RFE-, we were not really in any rush, as we received all 3 extension letters -12,24 and 48 months- though alas, we never got to travel with the 48 one. 😅
The wait was more unnerving this week since approval than the more than two years our case was still in process.

As soon as we got the delivery notification I ran towards the mailbox and still got to see the mailman leaving -though didn't have the chance to say hello or thank you-.
I've checked the card five times already and fortunately everything is correct.

Even though we were "fine" with waiting, the idea of still having to go through an interview was very annoying. We're glad they decided in the end not to schedule one and we are still puzzled about why we were transferred to be interviewed in the first place.

The whole road since the beginning was a little bumpy and sometimes quite challenging. I personally tend to use even unpleasant experiences as a path for knowledge but in this particular case I basically learnt nothing and if I did, I didn't need to learn it this way. 🤪

We're just glad the wait is finally over and we can share this moment with the forum.
We will worry in a little less than 10 years, hoping the fee for renewal goes down (one can dream).

@coffeepls The approval notice can be extended up to a year, so you should have enough time to get the case transferred.

Allaboutwaiting got a reaction from Dashinka in AOS RFE for “initial” evidence already submitted
Some members from a specific office -Atlanta if I remember correctly- reported receiving a request for a medical even though many were K1 and submitted evidence about going through it already.

You have the choice to get K2 beneficiary go through medical or send the same medical exam evidence again.
As for the I-94 and I-864 send everything again (including pay stubs, tax transcripts, etc.)

Now, I'm curious about two things:
    1.  You mention "financial benefit". What do you mean by that?
    2. Why do you want to move to the US if your marriage is not working out?

What makes you feel you need to pay someone to do so? And particularly that outrageous amount! -IMO-.

The instructions from USCIS and the guides here in the forum are so easy to follow.

And if you have a specific question, you can ask and the members will be happy to help.

I think all these visa services are a waste of time and money and based on what people have shared around the forum, they create problems rather than solve/avoid them.
