It been 8 weeks exactly and USCIS has not sent the file to NVC yet.  I called NVC to find out that USCIS send the wrong approval letter, the approval letter that we got is for Adjustment of Status so because of that it showed that the file was not going to be sent to NVC.  I wished I would have caught the error earlier (or even my attorney 😒 since his the one that knows these things better than I)  I called my attorney to let him know and said he will get it corrected.  I didn't get his word for it and I decided to also call myself to USCIS to get it corrected.  At that time I was told that they can take up to 90 days for them for finally transfer the file (SMH).  Now I have to wait for June to come to start calling USCIS again if the file has not been transfered yet.  Where that would bring us for my husband and I will be married for 2 years; Wonder if that will skip the temp visa and give my husband the 10 year.
