No, he can’t just “outright claim him”. If the child had returned with his LPR father on the latter’s first trip back to the US after the birth and before the child was 2, or if the child was born after dad got his immigrant visa and accompanied him on his trip to enter on that, then the child would have automatically been processed as a LPR on entry; but under the current circumstances he has to file for him. But if he’s earning good money then the cost of an extra i485 fee shouldn’t be a hassle? 
 
and yeah yeah, this forum is full of people who’ve been separated from their loved ones for a long time while doing things right.  Not me luckily as we had a different route but many people here have done spouse visas.

That looks like FITW (Federal Income Tax Withholding).  She should talk her HR department to make sure her W-4 has been processed correctly for future pay checks.

Personally, I would wait until her next pay period.  Then, if she wants more withheld, she can change the W-4 single. 

You filled out a W-4 as well. You will both get a W-2 at the end of the year (well, sometimes next year).
 
Not sure why they aren’t withholding the right taxes...I’m not confident it’s a W-4 issue or if they may have her flagged as being exempt for some reason.

You might want to call the court house and ask...the only difference in state of fl you can elect to take a pre marital course and it’ll void out the waiting period which is 3 days never heard of weeks and or if you don’t take it you have to apply summit your information then there after return 3 days later to signed and receive your licenses.

You don’t really need to translate. I thought the same thing and paid 150 for all my documents and ended up leaving them in Florida when I went for my interview and they ended up accepting all of everything as is....

Actually, uploading documents to CEAC is ONLY for immediate relative visas, of which the affidavit is a needed item

Once you have your case number you complete the DS-160 and print off the confirmation page for the interview.  Next you complete the instructions for paying the interview fee. Once its paid it now allows you to schedule your interview.  Once scheduled then move on to the medical exam then start collecting the required documents from the embassy instructions or P3.
 
I think your'e making this more then it needs be. Follow the instructions and you should be fine.  I believe I have added your subforum where you really need to be to get help and not here where someone from Germany or Spain has no experience with your embassy.

It doesn’t matter the date of when you get the birth certificate. One of the document does expire after 6-12 months and you would have to get another. I think it’s the certificate of good conduct I can’t remember I’ve read so much stuff lol. My husband is getting that certificate on Friday. 
Its not necessary to get the vaccination card but it helps for the medical exam because there are so many vaccines that he would have to get and it will save money but if he doesn’t have it it’s ok. In the first link I posted there is another link of the clinic where he is supposed to get the exam and it has a list and prices of all the vaccines. 
The proof of relationship is for the interview. You don’t need to send that to the NVC but it’s nice to have it ready or an idea of what you want to show them at the interview. 
My husband is from San Pedro and works in punta cana. We’ll be going through the embassy in la capital.  And I don’t mind the questions at all. That is why we are here. 
 

Got my K-1 approved the other day and leaving for the USA in a few weeks. Very excited for this new chapter in life and just wanted to come say thanks to everyone on this forum who helped answer all the dumb nervous questions I had on every little thing, even the ones who were jerks to me 😂 Let's be honest, there are quite a few know-it-alls on this forum but most people are really helpful and empathetic so thanks for all the advice/info.

Haha nice! We (husband and I) met at Universal Studios and then we became official at Magic Kingdom!

Also, make a cover sheet of everything listed in your package in order of the first page to the last, Put your passport sized photos in a small sealing bag, put your photos of being together and check clipped together with  your passport photos in a sandwich bag.  Have that sandwich bag clipped to the main packet.  I have heard stories of people opening the envelopes and the pictures slipped out and went missing.  So make sure that nothing is lose like photos or even the check clip them together. 

I put mine in a binder and didnt have problems. My i-129f just got accepted dec 17 2018. Make sure  you have the docs that it asks for all in the packet. As for question 54 you don't need your life story just tell them how  you met within the 2 years. I put exactly this "5/29/2018 - 6/17/2018 She visited me in the U.S. We went to Universal studios with my parents then alone to magic kindgom. After I had to go back to work so we stayed around my house for the remaining days"  and got approved without RFE's. I also used my passport as proof of US citizen.
