My husband arrived to states 3/19 from Ja, I paid the GC fee the first of April his GC was received in less than 2 wks. We now have everything and he has been working since April. I would recommend paying as soon as you can

Update we attended the 2nd interview yesterday, VISA WAS APPROVED!
I submitted my 2017 tax return with W-2's via email.
Timeline
Dec 6- first interview given 221g with request for tax forms, photos, arrange 2nd interview
Dec 12- more photos & tax forms submitted
Jan 24- email received from embassy to inform of my ( petitioner) availability. Interview scheduled for 2/19...ya'll know the rest!

What is the exact wording of the 221g request? Generally, it will take 3 to 5 weeks after submission, to get an answer on a 221g. Around Christmas, expect it to take a little longer.
