Congratulations. My wife had her interview today as well.

our case says “ready” when logged in now. Any idea what that means? Have they not updated yet is my guess?

After interview it goes back to that. Then it will briefly say AP then change to Issued when the have done all the final processing and security clearance. Hers happened all in one day. Fast! Sometime takes 2 or 3 days.

Just another thank you @Wuozopo for being a stickler for getting people to update their timelines, and reviews - it really does make a difference so people can see accurate statistics! ☺️

Your I-864 and supporting documents will be accessible to the officer at your interview. You need to bring the original civil documents so they can see them in person...birth certificate, passport, marriage certificate...

Until tax due date, extended to May 17,  your latest required tax return is the 2019 return and what you have submitted is fine. If your interview is after May 17, a 2020 return would be appropriate. Upload anything new to your NVC portal before your interview. A few people who had uploaded copies of tax returns PLUS W2 wage statements were told at interview that the W2 was not showing up so they had to upload again. Nobody is clear what the problem is...whether user or NVC or embassy error, but several have reported this issue. Their visa processing was paused until they uploaded again.

After the visa is issued, it can take a few days for the system to be updated before you can pay the immigrant fee.

    Hi all

I'm just wondering if anyone knows where to get the US style passport photos required for the interview (2"x2")? I've scoured the internet, and can only find slightly dubious looking websites that I'm not overly confident on in terms of getting them in time!

    Thank you

Sounds like you're close to the getting the visa hopefully. Fingers crossed. I was approved at interview last Thursday 8th and status changed to 'Ready' here - https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx  - on same day which is where you're at now I guess. On Monday morning, it changed to 'Administrative Processing' and then a few hours later to the final stage which was 'Issued'. I had an email from the courier the same evening saying the passport would arrive today. And so it did - arrived via courier in Edinburgh this afternoon. Actually the postman just dumped it in my letterbox without any verification! I jumped on here and paid the $220 USCIS Immigrant Fee - https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-fees/uscis-immigrant-fee - booked and attended my COVID-19 PCR test this evening, booked an airport hotel, flight, hire car, filled out the UK travel declaration here - https://travel-declaration.dft.gov.uk - and heading down to Heathrow to fly back to the missus in MIA on Friday. It's nice to know this part of the process is speeding up for everyone to follow. Long may it continue...

CR1 - DQ'd 8th October, original interview on 01/03 was postponed to 08/04 but finally approved at interview yesterday. Very straightforward interview process and it all went smoothly at the London Embassy. They're super professional but friendly working in a modern, clean and very spacious building. Couldn't help but let out a little cheer when the interviewer said she'd approve our visa at the interview window!! The whole process was 1 hour, but most of that was made up by waiting between the two stages of presenting documents (stage 1) and the interview itself (stage 2). I will post a full review later but SO, SO relieved and SO, SO happy to be near the end of our rollercoaster immigration journey. Just waiting for my passport to be couriered back up to me in Edinburgh in the next week or two / Thank you to everyone on here for their support and information and good luck to everyone who is waiting at the different stages.

Thanks! About ten days in advance. However, they found something on her chest X-ray, and needed to do sputum cultures.. hence the delay.

Wife had her interview today, went really well! They kept her passport and said they’re going to issue the visa once they receive medical (waiting for TB cultures). Meanwhile, they gave her an orange form (221-G).

Didn’t ask for any documents. Overall she said it was a very pleasant experience.
