  1. Something tells me you only read the first two sentences of the notice. If you had kept reading it should have been pretty obvious to you that what you got was a receipt notice, not an approval notice.

    That said, you're not the only one to freak out when getting a notice from USCIS. Getting mail from them can be rather traumatic. That's why it's very important to read what they send you thoroughly before jumping to any conclusions.

    ok it says your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year . During the one-year extension your are authorized employment and travel.. so that says too me its only good for one year? the rest of the letter explains about military etc and sending supporting papers which i have done all ready. and i have too go get fingerprints etc done.

    oh by the way I did read it all.

  2. Hi all, i just renewed my i-751 cost me 545 dollars and is only good for 1 more year! why? how many more times will i have too file this form and pay this price? When can i apply for citizenship. why does this form cost so much money. I came over on a K1 and got my PRC for 2 years only with conditions. Can you tell i was alittle disappointed with the length of time.

  3. Hi all , hope somebody can help??? I applied for my 1-131 on June 5th , notice day June 10th and I am going on a cruise on 26th November 2006 and too England next year 2007 . I still not have recieved my Permit too travel and we now have only 36 days till we sail . I am getting so worried my wife and I have spent 1400 dollars for this and I am worried now that my permit will not arrive in time. I have called Immigration and they say when date says July 10th then they can call the department but that takes me very close too sail day, anybody have any surgestions or routes i can take too get this resolved??

  4. Hi all i got my PRD the other day with no interview ? but its only valid for 2 years ? and has the letters CF1 under where it says Category. Why only 2 years and what does the letters mean does anybody have any ideas? Why no interview also ? I had finger prints takern at local office thats all.

    Is the PRD my Green card ? I know its probubly a silly question but i thought it was. Andy
