The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that was transferred to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

My 129f was transfered to california service center on the march 15 but i have not received any notification from california as to let me know if they have received it or not. The status on the USCIS site was update on 3/17/2007 just notifying me that they have transfered the case. My 130 is also at California service center.
"On March 15, 2007, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. Shall i call them to find out if they have received the case or not? I see a lot of people on here who post their timelines stating that once the case was transfered they received notifications.
please help!
thanks,

i was being honest...he really had a bad attitude and had a gay accent....nonetheless, the case# works now. It takes are round 5+ days for the case to be online from the day of receipt. At least that was my case. good luck!
-
i called them and a dude with gay mexican ascent picked up ...had an attitude too...told me that they have the case in the system...but doesn t know why i can t see it on line...

NO I TRIED AGAIN ...I AM ENTERING IT CORRECTLY...PERHAPS ITS NOT IN THE SYSTEM?
THE RECEIPT IS FROM CHICAGO AND THE RECEIPT HAS "MSC" MAY BE MSC DOES NOT HAVE THIS CASE IN THIER SYSTEM?
-
I tried it already. I can check status on my 130 but the site does not let me add my 129f. also to quote the instruction:
" To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number. See the FAQs for additional information on this system. "
the receipt number on my 129f is MSC-xxx...

guys please tell me if i made a mistake or not about filing i-130. is this acceptable???
i bought folders that have ACCO fasters built in it, $20 for 5 of them. I punched 2 holes on top of my documents. I tried to separate each of the documents with dividers. Added tabs at the bottom as neatly as possible. They don t have dividers with tabs at the bottom so i had to make all these stuff myself. I tried to be as neat as nice as i could.
and filled them in this order:
• Cover Letter on the opening left side of the folder
1. Section
• Completed I-130.
Divider
• Completed G-325A for the husband.
• Completed G-325A for the wife.
Divider
• Two copies of the husband’s passport biographical page.
• Two copies of the husband’s Certificate of Naturalization page.
• 2 passport size photos of the husband and the wife. (in a plastic bag only had one so put all 4 in that bag)
2. Section on wife's stuff.
• Two copies of the wife’s passport biographical page.
• Two copies of the wife’s school leaving certificate.
3. marriage certificates
• Two copies of Memorandum of Marriage, the registered marriage certificate, with a photo.
• Two copies of Marriage Affidavit, the certified marriage certificate, with a photo.
4. Final section at the end of the folder
• 2 copies wedding invitations from the groom’s side.
• 2 copies of wedding invitations from the bride’s side.
• 10 wedding photos. (neatly inserted in plastic photo pages i've got from office max)
any attachments were signed
is this acceptable? did i make a mistake? i read on this site that people were filing "yellow" files and blah blah...
please let me know what do you think
thanks
