well i am a bit confused about estimated processing times. Novotul and i have almost identical timelines but his estimated processing time for i-130 says may 17th mine says june 9th. haha

i would like to know what is exactly going on with our petitions? What is the exact process that takes place behind doors? What sort of checks are they doing?

yeah this is nuts! i am gonna go ahead and see my senator's aide this next week and then also congressman's aide. give them all the necessary paper work to check on the status.

i have sent in my paperwork few days before island_princess and still her and others get touches and i have none what the hell man

they are busy preparing for mothers day thats why very few approvals.

i sent in (with both i-130 and i-129f)

copy of my passport and her passport

copy of my citizenship certificate

copies of marriage certificates (memoridium of marriage and marriage certificate)

2 copies of wedding invitations from each of our sides

10 pictures of our wedding

well seems like i will contact them tomorrow. Bob Corker is US senator from TN. I will also contact the congressman's office

i contacted my state senator's office to see if they would inquire about my petition. they need me to drop off some paper work before they can do that. shall i fill out the paper work so they can inquire? is this worth it?

i am just a bit antsy.

This is a pure guess:

By looking at the time lines and updates (touches) made to many of the petitions it seems like there are batch jobs running at USCIS. If the touches are not major they are added to a batch process which runs at certain times on certain days. Hence, the touches and updates on the weekends. However, if it is important then an immediate update is provided.

I received 3 emails from CRIS about my case pending at CSC on Mar 30th. 1 at 8:33 am 2nd and 3rd at 8:34 a.m.

so i wonder if your cases were somehow added to the batch update resulting from error in query statements used to get data from the databases.

if you guys found out what has happend please post.

i said to hell with the visa #######... just find someone who can get u green card and/or citizenship papers for like few grand. it will be most efficient way

if you're pregnant (i mean she is pregnant you just helped )

you must notify USCIS and add the baby's name on the benificiary's list. your wife won t be able to get a visa if the name is not on the list. i am certain of this. after marriage i prayed she won t be pregnant, i know its bad but we have planned it, due to the reason that if she is pregnant she will have additional steps to take. i hope you have started to find out what these steps are exactly. i think the uscis and india mumbai embassy site has more info..

u can t file them online you need your signature. now you can download the forms and fill them out using adobe acrobat but then you have to print them out and sign them. it would be most helpful if you read the instruction on the forms themselves as well as on the website.

you should call and make sure they haven t lost ur file. you have every right to call and bit*ch them out.

get a lawyer if needed.

for the date, you don t really have to date it by hand you can type it out using a typewriter. signature is the most important part

can you please tell me what sort of bank letters are you gathering? what is it supposed to be about?

Also, how are you getting your documents notarized? mean are you sending it in to be notarized or going in person?

I am in Nashville, TN and not sure where will go to get my documents notarized. Also, what documents are you getting notarized? i know i need to get i-134 and i-824 notarized but do i need to get my bank letters or anything else notarized?
