KayMFrench got a reaction from reashamoriba in I-130 November 2018 filers
My husband had his medical completed today. His visa interview is the 1st of November. I am so excited but the nerves are starting to set in. I hope everyone else's process is moving along. Good luck to all!

It could be different for you than it is for me due to mine being expedited, but I truly do not know. We were told our medical had to be booked prior to making an appointment to ensure that the documents from the medical reach the embassy in time so we were not delayed.

Yes, photocopies. Originals aren’t needed until the interview stage.

Oh, congrats! Hopefully it’s the same for my husband’s petition. 🤞🏼 I’m trying my best not to stress out about it, so knowing that helps a bit.

KayMFrench got a reaction from EnglishLove in Old site or New?
It was the old one for me as well. It matches the PD that I also had on the letter I received.

KayMFrench got a reaction from robhostein in Dress code for interview
Just dress appropriately. My husband went into his appointment with jeans, a button up shirt and converse. You don’t have to go in with a suit, tie and dress shoes. 😂 Unless you want to..? Lol. Good luck on your interview!

KayMFrench got a reaction from Wuozopo in what can you take into London embassy for interview
Hi! My husband has been into the London Embassy. He was allowed to have his phone with him, he kept it in his pocket. He was not allowed to bring his other things in though. He had a backpack and laptop with him that wasn’t allowed. They have lockers there at the Embassy that you can store your things in. They do cost money to use. I cannot remember how much he had said, I apologize. But he had his things kept in the locker during his interview, it’s on a different level however so if you’re needing to store your things, make sure you you allow yourself the time.
Your battery pack will probably not be allowed or any type of charging cord, I’m afraid.

KayMFrench got a reaction from Bengoj in How do people cope
I visit my husband every three months. Any longer than that and I’d probably go insane. 🤣
Literally the only thing that keeps me going is knowing that this situation is only temporary. I have to tell myself this multiple times throughout the day to get through it. It’s so hard being so far away from the person you love.
My husband and I always tell each other, “One day, one way.”
Basically that one day, the plane ticket will be one way and we will finally be together. ♥️
