Hey! Great to hear that your wife is a citizen now. I also applied under 319b in October. Could you tell please, how long did you wait for the interview? How prior did you receive the notice about interview? Was it accurate  the estimate waiting time, that showed in your uscis account? Was it the same day ceremony?  I have so many questions))) I filed overseas, but I need to fly back to states for my interview, so I appreciate every shared experience here. Because its drives me crazy))) Thanks!!

Hi! How is your case? I only got a message, that my fingerprints were done, and no actions were needed. Same as you, it was taken at the base in Germany, sealed in envelope. I’ll tell you more, first time uscis returned my package, I missed one page in application, and fingerprints envelope was open , I didn’t do fingerprints one more time, just sent it as it was. And they were fine with that. So maybe you had to write them a message that you had already sent them everything.
And last week I got notification that my interview was scheduled. So everything is quite fast, even as I chose Seattle.

    Hey ;)
we were also  told that all N-400 go to Chicago- that’s where I sent mine too. They then sent it off to other locations who take on the case. I hope they’ll send it off to Fairfax in the end, which is where I want to have the interview and oath, because they’re doing it all in one day. Let’s cross fingers!
i hope it all goes well for everyone reading :)
ill update as soon as I have news

    Hello all
so i resent fingerprints, digitally done this time. They said they didn’t receive the first ones at the facility that is responsible for my case now. Which is in Missouri. Now I saw online that they rescheduled me for a bio interview (which basically means -when filing overseas- that something else was missing). We assume it’s the pictures that were with the first fingerprints. I guess they didn’t make it to Missouri either. I’ll have to wait for the letter to come to see what it really is. So far the case is moving quickly, its just unfortunate that not everything made it to where it needs to be. But we’re hoping the rest goes quickly too.

Yeah seems like you're in the background check stage. As soon as that's done your application will be "expedited" meaning you'll get priority dates for interview. Check your email often. Mine came through the email SEANATZRESCHEDULE@dhs.gov. SEA is for Seattle but yours will look something like that. You'll probably get a date by the end of the month. Good luck!

when USCIS wrongfully scheduled me an interview on a Saturday (I showed up and it wasn't open).

It took me 5 months to get my interview rescheduled. I pulled few of those service requests and they were utterly useless, I got BS responses including "we have no record of you filed N400" and "You file is in transit from NYC" (I filed in Boston)

I also contacted my senator and representative, both of them responded back with generic updates: You application is being reviewed.

And then one day, out of the blue or perhaps neon pink, I just received a letter telling me I missed my interview and a new one will be scheduled.

Hey guys, so happy I found this thread.  I applied 12/8/17, and now my status is showing 11 days as the estimated wait time.  Has anyone ever passed that wait time?  I guess I want to know if I should be excited that my interview might be scheduled in 11 days?

Only militariy spouses can have interviews at the consulate overseas provided they have been married and green card holders  for required period of time. All the rest gov civilians included will need to fly to the US for the interview

Aqualika reacted to gnakr in How accurate was estimated wait time of your case
Apparently my remaining estimating wait time is 1-2 months. I naturalized 2 months ago. So extremely inaccurate. They tend to give the maximum possible wait times because past that, you are allowed to inquire about your case and escalate through other means. I did my interview about 8 months after my initial application. After my interview, I heard absolutely nothing from USCIS except their auto-generated emails for at least 7 months.

There was around 5 weeks between the interview notice and the interview. This seems to be the typical amount of time.

i filed N-400 online in April 2018. Did oath August. Predicted  wait time was until April 2019.

I was estimated March 2019.  I took my interview today.  Waiting on the oath letter bow 😁😁

Aqualika reacted to Going through in How accurate was estimated wait time of your case
For me, incredibly inaccurate.  My case completion time was estimated at 18 months when I filed.  I took my oath only 96 days after filing the N400.
You can see my complete timeline in my signature.

Approximately one month and six days inbetween the notice received in the mail and the actual interview date.

I know it's too late now, but USCIS is encouraging online applications, not least in order to avoid what happened here.  Were you aware that you could apply online?
