    I824 has a processing time of 8 to 13 months so that's not really a viable option if you need to file AOS within 90 days to continue to have authorized stay in the US.

    In this process, do not try to do something that is not following guidelines.  It's just not worth it.
     
    You are a soon to be petitioner.  You need a recent photo.
     
    Have her take another digital image and send it to you by email.  Use passportphotosnow dot com to get US dimensions done correctly and they deliver photos to you fast for your petition.
     
    Do not take chances ever with the rules.    It's just not worth it.
     
    Also have her email you the receipt for the new digital image photo and together with your passportphotosnow receipt ... send them in with your petition.  This is how you prove you are following the rules.  That is what you want to show USCIS.
