  1. Confused
dnhk got a reaction from Ambasa73 in Withdrew N400 at advice of officer but want to reapply -- any issues?
Please give me advice on this situation. I am still worried about my case.
My situation: I applied N400 based on Divorce (5 year rule) on November 2022 and I got interview day on June 1, 2023. However, I need to go back my country to visit my parent because my father got sick. Therefore I traveled to my country 2 week and came back US on May 31, 2023.

Unlucky, I got headache, and my voice changed due to the sore throat. I was not conscious when I attended the interview day (June 1) and the officer asked about my propose day, and the day I met my wife. I provided information that did not match with the information that officer had on file when I interviewed for Green Card about the time I met, and location that I proposed which makes officer confuse about it. ( I had 2 plans to propose her at that time, and I used the planed propose location and time instead of using the real one that I proposed her.

That is because I got Jet Lag, was sick, headache and uncomfortable after a long flight to come back US. The officer recommended me to withdraw the N400 and I followed her recommendation.

My question is how long I can reapply the N400 and will the mistake information that I provide will be a big Red Flag for my future interview? Do they record all my answers and ask me about the confuse information on the future interview?

  2. Thanks

Hi guys, I just want to let you know that today I get the message: New Card Is Being Produced. I am so happy that my I751 is smooth, no Rfe or interview. It just transferred 2 times to the local office. My center is California, and I send my I751 packet at around the end of September 2018. Also, do you guys know when I will receive the card (1 or 2 weeks?) and do I have the tracking number to track the card?
    Thank you guys

You either need to submit a copy of the tax return WITH all the w2s and 1099s (and any other form like that you used for your taxes) OR a transcript. They also will probably ask you for ALL of your bank statements. Yes, its a big stack of paper, but they want to see it all not just a few months sample.

You should not worry about your packet being rejected due to the new policy. Its for people that send obvious incomplete packets to get it processing since it takes so long. If you sent just the 751 form and your ID then yeah maybe they'd send it back, but you submitted a decent amount of proof so it should be accepted and when reviewed in detail they will send the RFE. So get your papers ready. You can also use the RFE opportunity to add stuff to your packet. Check out other threads for ideas of what else you can add.
