  1. That's great news!

My priority date is July 8th, 2018 so, hopefully I'm not too far away from getting my interview notice too. My case is pretty straight-forward too and, I'm from Canada. Ironically, when I have my interview in Detroit, I will be right across the Detroit River from where I grew up - Windsor, Ontario. I remember telling them that during my Greencard interview 3 years ago. I haven't been on here in a month or so, because last I saw,  April and May filers were still waiting!  You're only like 2 weeks earlier than me.  I was beginning to think I might not get my interview till December or even early 2019.  You've given me renewed hope now.  I just checked the Detroit office processing time and it still says 8.5 to 13.5.  I think that second number just went down. I think it was 14.5 or 16.5.  I originally wished I could get my citizenship in time to vote in this year's midterm election but, that won't happen. The last day to register to vote in Michigan is October 9th. But, there is a  Proposal on the Michigan ballot this year, to be able to register to vote right up to Election Day.
