TheDjans reacted to JeanneAdil in Post-Interview: Passport required to travel
you hold a Pakistan passport??? right??
if you travel now before getting the visa and return the passport to the embassy, you will be months in AP as there will be new security checks for your travel
being from a high fraud country , you need to walk on egg shells to finally get the visa
i would cancel any travel plans and wait this out

Thank you for your response and putting it in such details.
It sure has been a long journey for you and your family.
But thank God it’s all over and yes all glory to the Almighty God. He works in mysterious ways and everything happens for the best and for a reason.
Again, congrats. And please pray for me and my fiancé as we are going through administrative processing right now and it’s really difficult. Just trying to be patient and calm through it all.
Good luck and be safe.

After more than 7 months of being on AP, am happy to say that today my case status on the CEAC site for all 4 of us has changed to ISSUED! Thanks to @SusieQQQ, @TheDjans and all those who supported me with their kind words and prayers. I pray this ISSUED status does not revert! lol

TheDjans got a reaction from Pompeys in Update on CEAC and form 221(g) turns to medicals
Please ask your wife to request for the passports from the embassy cos' they'll need it for the medicals. She should go to the embassy in person to request for them at the info desk. They'll give them to her. She should ask them if she can return the passports together with the medicals.

TheDjans got a reaction from Pompeys in Update on CEAC and form 221(g) turns to medicals
Hi Pompey,
You have to fill out a DS 260 form for baby on the ustraveldocs website, pay baby's visa fee, new medicals for your wife and first medicals for baby, they should summit medicals through DHL and book a follow-up 221G appointment on the ustraveldocs website for the fingerprint (check to see if there are openings right now and book an appointment fast because it takes time to get a date).
Make sure you guys get everything right to avoid delays. Good luck

Please remember to take police clearance certificate from China before you come to Ghana. You will need the Ghana police clearance too... My humble suggestion. Good luck

TheDjans reacted to Ruthie in Expired Medical reports
When we went for our interview, and my husband was found inadmissible, we knew we would be waiting at least another year. The consular officer told us that he would need another medical exam and visas wouldn't be given until a new one was sent to the consulate. I hope this helps.

TheDjans got a reaction from Ruthie in Expired Medical reports
Hi guys,
After waiting for over 6 months, the consular section called and they've requested for new medical reports. They said the ones we submitted on our interview day have expired.
Do you think our visas will be issued after we submit the new MRs?
How long will it take to get issued?
