A recommended step in this process is to wait until you receive the interview notice for the N-400, then send a letter to the same USCIS regional office on the naturalization interview notice, requesting a combo interview with the pending I-751, if it is still pending at that time.  Include in the letter a photocopy of the N-400 interview notice, as well as the I-751 receipt with the 48-month extension. This worked for my husband's case and he had a combo interview, first the I-751 where I was called in, then the N-400 on his own, both were approved.  Some USCIS offices routinely do a combo interview without the letter requesting one, but we have seen some cases here on VJ where a decision on the N-400 was delayed after a successful naturalization interview because of a pending I-751.  Good luck!

We took a page out of @Crazy Cat's book and added a letter in the evidence section of the N-400 specifically requesting a combo interview.

Lol all my other cases were updated immediately but I guess this one is taking a long time just sitting at interview was scheduled. And I’ve never read the we have taken an action on your case. 

For us it took 5 days after the interview for the status to change to "card picked up by post office". Then 2 days later the card arrived. Didn't get the "case was approved" or "card being produced" update, it just went right to telling us the card was being shipped lol.

Lol I guess there’s either a glitch with the system or some employees prefer not to update the status 😂

Some people experience an update as they are leaving the parking lot.  
 
Some people never get an update before the card arrives.  
 
Some people have it happen in between.  
 
You can browse timelines and threads to see what experiences are.  For us the status changed a couple weeks after the interview. At that very same office the same day for others the status changed that evening.  There is no rhyme or reason.  

Congratulations!      Did you just ask your bank for a letter confirming that you have a joint account? Or were bank statements with both of your names on, enough?

Hello everyone, today we had the adjustment of status interview and it was approved. Everything was fast, they only asked for proof of insurance, letter from work and the bank ... and they asked him the address where he lived, how many children did he have and nothing else ...

When you say letter from the bank, do you mean bank statements or the letter you can get from the bank stating you both have a joint account?

Hello. My interview was set for March the 18th. It was cancelled and I am still waiting for it to be rescheduled

Lots of posts of people that got interview notices for next month.

My fiance is from the UK and we’re in the process for waiting for the noa2, which was supposed to have arrived any day now according to processing times. I started a really good new job literally two weeks ago, I was earning well above required, he was going to be here in 1 to 2 months. 
 
Then the Coronavirus hit and I got hit with the “last in first out” policy, while my company lies to me about trying to save money. They’re still getting catered food and beer, extra healthcare help, personal uber/lyft rides to work, and telework approved. 
 
A week ago I could prove I have a job and support us both, we were looking at apartments, our life was going to start out amazing. Then all of this happens. How am I supposed to cope with all this when I don’t even know when next I can see the love of my life, much less hug him.
 
People in isolation all over the world stuck with their partners in the same house, able to work from home, they’re all complaining. Meanwhile us K1 beneficiaries and petitioners have to have our fiances be stuck in another country, and have to watch them get sick while we can’t do a thing. Life feels really ###### unfair. 
 
I’m so sorry if this isn’t the appropriate forum, I just didn’t know anywhere else that would understand. Everything feels so horrible, I just want to go back to 2 weeks ago. 

how lovely, my fiance and i have been waiting for 3 years to be with each other and now all the sudden after i booked her ticket and mine to go to Lebanon and bring here with me on the 25th of this month, travel ban is on Europe comes up!!! what a lovely thing that is happening to us like wow wow wow

Does anybody have the p3 letter for Australia for k1 visa? I’d like to get an idea of what is needed for the next part of the process. I’ve searched here and haven’t been able to find it. Thanks

Ad: I looked into your post history.  You already think you may be being used for a green card. Develop deal breakers.  But honestly if you can't trust the person, don't.  Even if they are the most trust worthy person on the planet, if you don't trust them you'll ruin a relationship that may have been positive except for your personal issues.
