  1. Hi All!

My Fiancee and I are in the process of filling out the I-134 as we recently received our NOA2 and we want to be ahead of the game. We need some clarification on the "Dependents Information" section, (Part 3, Question 10)

"The following persons are dependent upon me for support. If you need extra space to complete this section, use the space provided in Part 7. Additional Information"

    10.a. Family Name

    10.b. Given Name

    10.c. Middle Name

    11. Relationship to me

    12. Date of Birth

    13. This person is (x) Wholly dependent on me for support / (x) partially dependent on me for support

Would we need to put my name (I am the beneficiary) in there with relationship as - Fiance and (x) Wholly dependent for support when filling out the form since I won't be able to work until receiving EAD or it isn't applicable for the purpose of the affidavit of support on the K1 Visa

Just send him a photo of yourself with a little extra room on them, and there are plenty of ways to take your image and get passport photos made. My fiancee sent me a photo of herself, and I cranked out a few passport photos for the I129, and wrote her name and date on the back and sent the petition in. Scanned copy of your intent to marry letter is fine also, as you will be bringing updated intent to marry letters to the interview more than likely.

But if your just in Canada to the US isn't a very long or expensive mail time, you could send the originals in a few days for under 10 bucks.

I intend to send both the 2x2 photos I had taken today but for clarification when my fiancee is compiling our packet, must she include One or BOTH of mine (plus her own) inside of the petition?

Yes I am going to send off the originals tomorrow :) Thank you!

  4. Hello!

I was reading up on the requirement for a PASSPORT STYLE (2x2) photo of both the beneficiary and petitioner to be included in the packet with the i-129f petition

I got my photos today (I am the beneficiary) and have dated / signed the back... do I need to physically mail the photo now to my fiancee or will a scan/print be acceptable?

    Whats the most efficient way?

  5. Hi there!

I am the beneficiary And we are in the process of filing the i-129f... I have a question related to Part 2 question 37 where it asks if I have ever been to the USA.

i have marked this box as YES (my most recent visit was sept 13 - 17 where I proposed before leaving the USA) and after some browsing of the forums it’s been suggested to attach a copy of my most recent i94 to our packet to prove timely exit and to show I am not currently in USA at the time of filing.

Would it it be sufficient to go onto the i94 cbp website and take a screen capture photo of my i94 record and attach it on a separate page (I would write my passport number on the sheet)? Should I include the travel history showing arrival / departure?

    Thank you in advance!!

I think your answers are perfect.

I was the beneficiary filing for a K-1 Visa last year and was working as a freelance graphic designer full-time at the time and had been for 2 years. I simply wrote...

FULL NAME OF EMPLOYER --> QUESTION 16: Self Employed

Question 17 a-h: My home address (as I also worked from home)

BENEFICIARY OCCUPATION --> Question 18: Graphic Designer

My visa was approved with no hiccups and I'm now in America happily married and starting my AOS journey.

Congrats on a successful marriage and best wishes for the AOS :)

One last question, would it be necessary to enter "PRESENT" under Employment end date or could I simply leave this blank? (In the additional information my last job that wasnt self employment end date was 12/18/2017 and this was noted)

  7. Hello there!

I am the beneficiary for the K1 Filing and we are in the process of filling out the i-129F

On Part 2, question 16-18 I hope you will be able to assist with some clarification

As of July 1 2014 I began doing side gigs as a self employed individual (while simultaneously having a job of some sort for additional income) and now self employment is my most recent / current source of income. I do content creation (mainly graphic design, copywriting, and/or videos) and was wondering if the following information on the form would be sufficient

FULL NAME OF EMPLOYER --> QUESTION 16: (My Name) - Self Employed

Question 17 a-h: My current address (as I work from home)

BENEFICIARY OCCUPATION --> Question 18: Content Creator

I intend to fill out my entire work history for the last 5 years such as during the times where I was working a job and doing self employed work

    Thank you

  8. Hello VJ!

I recently proposed this past weekend to my (now) Fiancee and we are ready to begin filling out form i-129F

On the USICS website it shows "04/10/17. A new edition of this form is coming soon. In the meantime, you may file using the 04/10/17 edition. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the form and instructions." however when we download the file it says on the top right hand side "Form I-129F OMB No. 1615-0001 Expires 08/31/2018"

The part that concerns me is where it says "Expires 08/31/2018" as we are now about 3 weeks past this date. Any feedback on what we should do? Fill out and file this current form? Wait until its updated?

    * EDIT *

    Found this...
