Informed delivery is telling me that I’m getting a USCIS letter today, so hopefully it’s the extension!

April 15, 2023 Mailed via Fedex overnight
April 17, 2023 Delivered
April 20, 2023 Received Text (IOE)
April 22, 2023 Case status updated to "My Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS

That status unfortunately means absolutely nothing it's  just a basic catch all sorry to say. You should be hearing from them soon about your biometrics though. You did receive your extension correct?

Understood… was hoping you had a longer trip planned.

This is a good start.  Now, they just need to completely eliminate conditional green cards to make another great impact.  

There are 4 pages worth of us telling you about the red flags and it seems like you want to cling to every bit of “positive” to try to justify to yourself that this is a legitimate relationship. And now he’s talking about having children??? With a person he never met before??? Oh dear. That’s another RED FLAG. 

Honestly, I wouldn't. You don't really know that person and it sounds sketchy with the whole "I would marry you without knowing you". Sounds like a "I'd love a green card". Not necessarily the case, but possible. Anyways, going to a foreign country to meet a person you don't really know by yourself is too risky in my opinion. Make sure you have your friends with you when you first meet and if things go well, you can spend time with him alone. That's my advice. 

She needs to have legal residency in a country to be able to interview there. Can’t just shop for consulate.

Correct, spouses of US Citizens are allowed to enter and exit the country. So long as the beneficiary has the advanced parole their case will not be abandoned. Do note that the US is now requiring a negative COVID test to enter the country. Please take that into account when making plans to return home.

Not true.  The stimulus check is a tax credit, something that eligible taxpayers are entitled to.  It is not a publicly-funded benefit like food stamps that casts doubt on someone's financial capacity.  Stop with the fearmongering.

Not accurate.  Non-citizens/non-PRs (such as EAD holders pending AOS) who had SSN and filed taxes were eligible even for the previous round of stimulus checks.

I have found that saying "receipt was lost" transfers you to an operator straight way
