  2. The OP was asking questions and learning and he has discovered the original plan was not allowed. He has now learned about DCF and will try that route. To prevent rehashing and focusing on the fraud part of his questions I'm locking this thread. The OP is encouraged to start a new thread in the DCF forum so he can ask all DCF related questions.~~
  3. ~~Hijack posts and replies have been split and some removed. Please understand that comparing your experience from another consulate does not help members who are dealing with Montreal. It is like apples to oranges. Experiences will not be anywhere near the same.~~
  4. ~~Post from the Canada forum along with a reply split off and moved the UK forum. As this is about the London Consulate, which will be nothing like the Montreal Consulate.~~
  5. Thanks for catching this. ~~Thread moved to Tourist Visas, from Bringing Family of USC- as the OP is not looking at immigration at this time.~~
  6. Did you fill out your ROC with your maiden name and list the married name in other names used? The thing about going back to your maiden name is you can do just that. When you assume a married name you aren't really doing a name change. You are totally allowed to assume the married name or not. Getting a name change is done through the courts and those change the name on your birth certificate. Assuming a married name is just that assuming it. If you didn't change the name on your ROC forms to your maiden name, it would be easier to wait until you get an interview (if you get one) or N400, but here also don't ask for a legal name change just change your forms to your maiden name and add the previous last name to the proper spot for other names used.
  7. Are you trying to have your father immigrate to the US or get a medical tourism visa?

  9. I don't think I will ever be over giving pedophiles any type of new spin. I haven't read anything like that, but I don't doubt they predicted it.
  10. I watched the trailer and OMG how can anyone be split on this.
  11. ~~Duplicate threads merged. PLease do not start any further threads on this topic. Keep all additional questions in this thread.~~
  12. It worked. I have one request. Please put the reason you make a report. We don't always know why a report is made and sometimes we can't figure it out.
  13. They are gorgeous, I love the white one.

  16. Thank you, long time ago he wanted an all white one to call Snowball Thank you I do try Thank you, yes they have each other and the shelter that had them also had the mom they all went to a foster home. These two were the last ones to be adopted. Since they were together all this time I'm happy we could take them both. We were told they did not come from a good place and to take our time with them. They are very fearful of noise, so the kids have been trying really hard to not fight and yell. It also helps to keep them in the bedroom while they warm up to us. So far they seem very happy.
  17. If close in age they eat the same food, and the wet glop I just use two bowls they eat it right away. At least that is how it worked when I had 4. Although I found introducing a kitten to an older cat easier then one the same age. Except my Siamese cat he accepted any cat any age and even puppies. He was a great cat. Double food was a gripe the Hillbilly had, but he pretty much just asked if I knew what I was getting into. In other words it's my job and I will delegate that to the kids
  18. Oh yes I can just imagine the trouble they will get in. I will need to figure out a way to keep them off my tortoise table.
  19. Thank you, I agree but I really did not think the Hillbilly would have. I thought it was a miracle to get one. He has them in his room atm. They are super cuddly, just need them and the dogs to get used to each other before free range.
  20. Saturday we went to meet someone to pick up a terrarium from FB market place. We met in Petsmart parking lot. Of course we looked around then we saw kitties. Sunday comes along and the Jedi is supper stressed over the loss of his frog. Normally I don't try to replace animals after a death as one needs times to grieve. But my gut said he cannot take another loss and he wanted another frog. They are just to delicate and he gets too attached to them. Too big of a risk. Plus those darn frogs cost $80 bucks. They probably went up in price by now too. So when we went out to get a few things it pops into my head that he would love a kitty of his own. Big sister has 2 he loves on in her little apartment. SO I start telling the Hillbilly that he is not going to like my idea and he should just tell me no and not even tell him. Well of course he says just say it. SO I tell him the Jedi is too sensitive and he's twitching( ticks from anxiety and stuff) I told him he needs a hardier pet to call his own and that little kitty we say at Petsmart would be perfect for him. We he said ok and that was the hardest thing that man could do. He doesn't hate cats just prefers them elsewhere. We go home I talk to the Jedi telling him I think he needs to wait until he is older for another frog. His sweet little heart can't take it. I asked him what he thought about a different kind of pet. Just to keep him from jumping to something that may or may not happen I didn't tell him, but we took him to look at other animals. There were 4 possibilities a 1 year old female orange kitty, a greyish tabby boy that was 6 months turns out the foster for that boy didn't have him listed so we couldn't fill out anything, and two 6 month old white girls with tabby patches that were to pick from. The little orange 1 girl didn't want anything to do with us. I think the Hillbilly scared her. The Jedi said she has beardaphobia lol. We could not get her to come anywhere near us. Next were the two sisters 6 month old white tabby( at least that is what I'm calling them) They came out not shy what so ever. The Jedi was able to pick them both up and they would purr like crazy. So I asked him which one he wanted and asked the employee if they could be adopted separately, they could be. The Jedi of course could pick between the too and the Hillbilly which I would have swore would shay no to two. Said to get both. So here they are meet Pebbles and Rayla. The Jedi now has therapy kitties
  21. So the Jedi lost one of his little froggies. Poor boy is totally heart broken. This is HopHop he just never grew was so small right from the start
  22. ~~Moved to Moving to the US and Your New Life - as the topic is about shipping belongings.~~ Mod hat off She is going to have to wait until she is approved of her PR, maybe the EAD/AP would allow it. CBP will need documents to prove her legal status before allowing her items to be shipped over. AOS is never guarantied so that is how CBP looks at it.
  23. Members are given the chance to have their thread moved to the proper regional forum. We are often ignored when we ask.
