You don't need a PP. USCIS isn't concerned with your foreign PP.
Neither do you need to carry your SSN.

Bring vaccination records, school transcripts, Walmart receipts, old drivers licenses, your latest ultrasound, your paystubs
Just joking. Bring what the letter says, nothing more, nothing less

I don't recall needing photos, either. The notice is very specific and thorough.

Exactly. Those were some of the things I sent as evidence with the I-751, itself.

In addition to the documents suggested, consider drafting wills, medical powers of attorney, and similar estate documents. These make excellent evidence for the I-751, and they're even more crucial to have in "life."

We had a combo interview. The IO wanted to evidence of bona fide marriage from date of filing the I-751 to interview date. Driver's licenses, bank statements, leases, credit cards, car insurance, etc.

1. Bring your US citizen spouse (if filed jointly)
2. Bring all the supporting evidence of marriage since the beginning and most importantly, recent too. Bank statements, birth certificates for children born in this marriage, deeds, insurance in both names, 401 beneficiary info, photos, plane tickets in both names, copies of IDs with same address etc, utility bills with both names.
3. Bring your green card and extension letter, as well as foreign passport(s)
4. Bring US citizen spouse passport and/or their US birth certificate or certificate of naturalization.
5. Interview invitation letter
Good luck!

Yes.
If you don’t don’t have an unrestricted social security card the. You have exactly 7 days to go to SSA to order one because your timeline says to entered on your CR-1 on January 17, 2019. 2 year gc + 24 month extension letter takes you to January 17, 2023.
Short of life and death you’ve no other priority but to go to the SSA office, bring you gc and extension letter and order an unrestricted SS card.
You can then file I-9 with your state ID or DL and your new SS card. SS cards never expire. Too bad you didn’t live in AZ in the era of lifetime drivers licenses.

Does your SS card have the line "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION" or something like that? If yes, go get it changed to a regular SSN, then give it to your employer.

Yes, the stamp itself is good for travel and new employer.
For employer though, unrestricted social security card and valid drivers license is way better proof. Then you won't need to worry about your stamp expiring. You wouldn't even have to mention stamp to them.

Successful Pinky reacted to Crazy Cat in Wife's N-400 Interview is Scheduled!!!!!
Maybe. Maybe not. Your opinion is your opinion. But I know of one person who submitted their N-400 exactly 1 year before we submitted my wife's N-400. Same local office. Their interview is 1 week before my wife's interview. Took them more than a year. We submitted my wife's N-400 about 3 months ago.
Begging? 🤣.Laughable. Is an expedite request begging? Is asking to get an ADIT stamp in your passport begging? Is asking an elected official for help begging? We submitted my wife's I-751 in March of 2019. I think we have waited long enough.
BTW, please fill out your VJ timeline.

Successful Pinky reacted to Crazy Cat in Wife's N-400 Interview is Scheduled!!!!!
Thanks. I appreciate that. I uploaded a self-written letter as extra evidence or unsolicited evidence (same place as I uploaded tax transcripts). In the letter, my wife merely gave them a brief history and requested a combo interview. @Family made the suggestion and made a prediction that my wife would get an interview in about 3 months. Did the letter work? Well, we got the interview in about 3 months. Her official I-751 status is still "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". I expect it will be either a combo interview or a waiver of the I-751 interview.

Hi Crazy Cat!
Congratulations hearing that good news.
Btw, in your timeline you have filed N-400 on 8/07/2022 and there’s also 8/7/2022: Uploaded request for combo interviee
I am curious, is this a sort of a process that the applicant can do or is this a notification from USCIS?
thank you.

Yet another thread has been moved from General Immigration Discussion to the US Citizenship main forum and merged with an existing thread.
Successful Pinky, if you start any more new threads on an existing topic, your account will have administrative action applied to it for spamming of the forums. Keep further questions on your N-400 process within THIS thread. Thank you.

Hey!
No, she was not asked for any evidence. They only asked her why she needed the stamp and she said she needed to visit her mother who is old and sick.
That being said, if you do have any documentation, i would take it anyways just in case. I think these appointments can vary depending on who is the person that sees you on the day of your appointment. Perhaps they will ask you for something. If you have it take it!

I’m not sure if I remember correctly, but since I had applied under the 3-year-rule, I put all kinds of evidence for our marriage under additional documents, e.g. bank statements, deed for our house, former lease agreements, etc. to make it clear that we are still married. I probably went way over board, but I figured I’d rather give them too much than too little.
Good luck with everything!

Your evidence for the n400 goes back 3 years from when you filed so your evidence should go back 3 years.
You need to show your spouse has been an US citizen for all three years (USA birth certificate or naturalization certificate)
You need to show you reside together with your US citizen spouse for all three years. W2 for each year with a common address for each of you, joint tax return transcripts for each year for the last 3 years, any mail at the same address for each of you. State issued IDs with the same address over the period (drivers licenses), photos together on holiday for past 3 years.

Indeed. But her filings don’t generate RFEs. She is having a lot of trouble getting online N-400 to work though. I don’t think she will make a profit on our filing.
