    Hi guys,

My case was approved just today, no interview. AOS from F1. I submitted July 12th 2021, so it took 2 years and 3 months. I haven't submitted the n400.
It's coming for ever one, just be patient.

I had no problem either. I didn't even have the card as I got mugged. I used the temporary stamp and there was no problem

    Hey folks!

    July 2021 ROC/October 2022 N400 filer here.

No movement on the ROC until today. Had the N400 interview yesterday (passed!!!) and today the I751 has been updated to being approved, with the N400 application now updated to "oath ceremony will be scheduled".

There is a light at the end of this (4 year+) tunnel!

    Sending positive vibes to all!

I follow some facebook group and apparently AOS takes only 2, 3 months nowadays. When I applied for it a few years back, it took 1 year 2 months to get interviewed.
My ROC was submitted July 2021, and there's no update. Received the 48 month extension letter a few weeks back.
    Sigh.

The funny thing about 751 is too many people are going too in depth with the "in love" stuff on their application packets.

The love part is over. You got a conditional green card because they believe you love each other, the 751 is for showing you have a continued life together, if you want to avoid interviews focus on this type of evidence. Leases, Insurance, Utility Bills etc... pictures and affidavits hold very little weight as evidence and would be best left to a minimum unless you really don't have much other evidence to show, which is not good. In fact I know a lot of officers browse straight past these types of evidence given how easily forged they are.

Again, focus on sending the correct evidence guys. You will avoid RFE's and interviews if you do. And we all just want our cases approved as fast as possible

    Approvals are coming!

    Hello everyone!

Great news! On 1/31/23 the USCIS website updated to show that my husband's green card had been printed. On 2/1, it updated again to show that our petition was approved without an interview! His card was shipped on 2/3 and we received it yesterday, 2/6. Our service center was Nebraska.

We haven't applied for his citizenship and probably won't for a while, so I just wanted to update everyone with our timeline without the N-400 application.

To say we are relieved is a total understatement, it's such a huge weight of our shoulders to finally have a 10 year permanent residency card. The impending expiration of our extension letter was starting to cause some issues and with a trip to the UK coming up in May I was starting to freak out!

Did anyone else get differing estimates from VJ ranging anywhere from February 16th to May 15th? I had to stop opening them since they were freaking me out haha.

Anyway, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! I wish all of you good luck and hope that your approvals are on their way! 💞

A lot of lawyers start suing after 12-18 months of wait. You clearly waited 45+ months and most lawyers would agree, it's totally fine suing at this point.

2022 both cases, I don't know when they submitted it, I can only see the latest update of the cases as it's the only public data available for scraping. You should compare the number of your case against theirs to know where you are in the line.

You CANNOT get an I-551 stamp overseas.
A boarding foil via the consulate/embassy is an expensive ($575), time consuming, pain in the a** that you can do without, so you need to get it before you go.

When you call again and they ask you if your current stamp expires within 30 days just say yes - the phone people really don’t know this and the people at the appointment don’t care too much and will be happy to cancel your current stamp and issue you a new stamp earlier than normal if you show you will be travelling during the expiration period.
If you do get the ‘no appointments available’ bs which seems to be common now, then call again and state it is urgent imminent travel for an urgent reason.

I simply can’t believe this rubbish that USCIS are making people jump through for these goddam stamps that you are legally entitled to (could be argued to required to have). I dread doing this rubbish every year, and I’ve had twelve of these stupid stamps now.

Oh, and when you renew your passport, the stamp remains valid in the cancelled one when presented with a new valid passport.
