thank you.  They updated the new website.  I was checking 6-7 times yesterday and decided to give up for the rest of the week.  Checked my email this morning, lo and behold got an email from USCIS saying they took action on the case.  Was expecting a RFE but turns out to be an approval.  
 
I'm not sure exactly how their system works but the receipt for the email was 3AM.  I doubted anyone was working 3AM so I'm guessing these emails/approval happens with a nightly update to the system. Noticed you are also 7/25, good luck! 

Got the approval noticed last night after uscis updated their system.  NOA1 - July 25.  Approved 12/17.  8 days shy of 5 months! Hope everyone else gets their approved soon!

Thanks for the post, I didn't even consider people would do that.  I initially signed up just to make sure I was getting all my mails but now it's probably a good way to monitor for suspicious activity, like getting a credit card I didn't sign up in the "informed delivery" email.  Also having credit monitoring notify when someone does a pull on your credit is a good idea too.  

I doubt questions about plans for an actual wedding is a trap, I mean you are claiming this person is your fiance and any reasonable person would believe that you discussed something like that during the 8-10 months of waiting.

did you end up just waiting it out or what course of actions did you take that moved it along? also congrats, you deserve it with all the patience you guys have!
