Well, like someone said. It's like a Wallmart's check out lines, some lines go faster than others. It really depends on the individuals who are responsible for adjudicating our cases (among other factors).

It seems they did send somebody to the post office to pick it up! 😊 My credit card was charged by USCIS and I received the text notification today.

I totally understand where you're coming from but to each his own I suppose.  Up to the OP what he wants to do but I just feel like the section in the I-134 is pretty clear cut, it's either is this person currently depending on you or are they not, disregarding any future possibilities because there could be a million possibilities.   

it seems like the 6-8 weeks is a canned answer.  Searching old threads regarding this same question, other has reported that they gotten theirs within 1-3 weeks.  Maybe try calling in once a week and see how your lucks goes.

5 weeks sounds like plenty of time, no need to panic.  I'm sure you'll get it within the next couple of weeks, with a couple of weeks to spare for the mailing part or if you're cutting it close just overnight it to the Lockbox to be safe.  I think you'll be alright.

This was as I suspected.  The new site shows my NOA 12/17 but my hardcopy of the NOA2 shows 12/14.  Most likely the person that was doing the data entry for the site(s) must have skipped over you.  Now that I thought about it, having 2 forms of approval notice with 2 different persons, ensures the petitioner get 1 or both form of notice.  

So this is just a random thought but I received my hard copy of the NOA2 today.  I was approved on the new site on 12/17 but the "notice date" in the hardcopy is "12/14/2018", so I'm guessing all of our petitions are worked on and approved days before it's updated in the new or old system which probably explains why some people get silent approvals.

They actually do review cases in order but remember it still depends on the person that's reviewing it how fast they do it.

Got the approval noticed last night after uscis updated their system.  NOA1 - July 25.  Approved 12/17.  8 days shy of 5 months! Hope everyone else gets their approved soon!
