We went in, and the officer said she'd need proof of our relationship, so I handed her printout of application for joint bank account plus copy of my bank card, me on health and dental insurance through hubby's work, she then asked me the questions from the AOS, a few questions like parents names, kids names, if they are with me here or not, made small chat, then she asked for any other proof of us being married still, for her to file in my file (which was a BIG ### full file!!!!) #k1isnojoke - I gave photos of wedding, photos of us between k1 interview and wedding, gym membership contract, costco family card copies, JCP card, some Amazon invoices addressed to me at this address and a marriage conference registration. She didn't need to see any of the other evidence I had, so I held onto it. 
Said all looks good, she's just waiting for my fingerprints to come back clear (took my index fingerprints in the waiting room), and I'll get my card or any RFE's in the mail. 
SO it wasn't a YES, but it seemed all good. Holding thumbs. My EAD should come in the mail in the next week, so happy days here!!!! 
It was really short and sweet and to the point, my hubby wasn't asked much at all (if anything, come to think of it )

Without EAD up until now, we have seen no use in getting me on bills or an account as Im not earning. Also can't get a DL so no car insurance/car. 
 

Have to celebrate and say after being in AP after my interview 2 weeks ago, I am now in ISSUED.
Waiting with bated breath for the courier notification!!!

Can I marry without a SSN? I read that one needs a SSN for the marriage certificate/license/whatever its called

Must I take my divorce and birth certificates, as well as my fiance's to the interview? 
 

I know it’s hard to travel on a k1 after you’re in the USA for the first two years.. does the same apply for kids on a k3?

No you are fine.  As long as you have met in person.  Make sure you keep a detailed log of all of the communication you have.  Use facebook messenger and facetime if you have apple.  Keep a log so when you get to the Embassy interview you can hand the interviewer all of you logs to show legitimacy.  My friend met his Thai fiancé once in person for 12 days and they got there fiancé K1 visa approved.  They talked for hours everyday.
