She asked some Qs and then sent us to another area where we both got interview separately...him longer than me. Of note, the mother of his two daughters and I have the same last name. The investigator asked me what was my relationship with her: I said none that I'm aware of. Later on, my fiance told me he was told it was too coincidental that both women share same last name. Investigator told me after all his questioning that he had proof that we were a fraud and that I was only doing him a favor and that as a US citizen with children I needed to think and tell the truth. In a lame attempt to piggyback on @Greenbaum's words of wisdom, DO NOT freak out to the point of hospitalization with a panic attack when you start reading about NOA2s from people who filed days/weeks and even a month or two after you start rolling in. There's a method to USCIS madness: there's no method!
 
As previously stated, set your expectations low, set it and forget it, expect your NOA2 for the end of the current waiting period. Use the next few months to educate further in the K1 process, research embassy requirements of your beneficiaries' countries, gather what paperwork you'll need for embassy stage: tax transcript, updated letters of intent, screen shots of whatever form of communication used (2 screenshots per month...people differ in opinions in this...do what's best for you), but most importantly, nurture your relationship.

I got my interview on April 2. And now the status say... VISA ISSUED!!!!! K1 VISA APPROVED!!!!!!! we can finally close the gap next month!!!

We arrived In the US today.  Dallas (DFW) was our POE.  
 
We went to the area for K1 visas.  The first CBP officer took our packet, then took a photo of my fiancé and scanned her fingerprints.  My daughter and I (already US Citizens) had to get our passports scanned before we went to the K1 visa area.  The total time with the first CBP officer took about 5 minutes.  Next he escorted us to the Secondary.  We sat in a waiting room with about 20 other people and waited about 30-40 minutes before my fiancé's name was called.  The CBP officer in Secondary gave her passport to her and told her to have a nice day.  No questions were asked.  I also checked the I-94 website when we got to our hotel and her K1 visa arrival is in the system.
 
It was a GREAT today except for the rain and traveling with 6 LARGE suitcases and 3 carry ons and 2 additional back packs and one very energetic and hyper 3 year old, lol.
 
 

Passport received, ticket bought, and she'll be on her way here soon 😊

There is no charge for getting tax transcripts.

You... don't need a state ID to be seen. Imagine how people who are just visiting US wouldn't be able to go see a doctor or go to the hospital because they don't have a State ID?
 
I imagine they require a "photo ID" and I assume your wife has her passport.

People who are adjusting status from non-K1 (or non-valid K1) visas or statuses have to submit I-130. So if you're in the US on a student or a work visa, the I-130 is the form to complete, to specify that you're adjusting status (i485) based on marriage (i130). 
 
K1 already had to establish the relationship during the K1 interview itself. You still want proof of bona fide marriage for the interview, ideally, but you don't need to tell USCIS that you're adjusting based on marriage, since that's the point of the visa.

You have to file i-130 when you fail to get married within 90 days. 

They'd hold it. Have him call anyways and inform them.
